Overall Review: Just remember that they need to be initialized first before they can be formatted. Win 7 users should right click on "Computer" --> Manage -->Disk Management and let Windows initialize them. They will need to be in your computer and not connected by either eSata or USB. Pros: Installed easy - Quite.

Cons: Holes for my hard drive bays were missing. Perhaps they are drilled for other cases. I'm using them in a regular computer case (Thermaltake View 91) as a RAID.

Overall Review: They are hard drives which I bought on a 40% sale. I've been lucky with hard drives and my luck continues with this pair. Pros: Thermaltake quality at its finest. It's quiet and beautiful. Room for 18 drives! My ATX extended motherboard takes up about 1/3 of the floor. This case is designed to showcase Liquid Cooling systems. I'm not into that but all the new hardware is coming with built-in LED's I decided to go with the flow. If you know what you are buying, there are no cons to this case so I'm going to list my reservations here> First is the weight - I had to help the delivery guy get it into the house and I almost toppled off my stairs getting it up. It weighs around 60 pounds and it is large. (Hint- take both side panels off before you move it). Second is it's physical size. It's huge so treat it like a piece of furniture. Place it where you can see it and plan to leave it there. My system is very quiet- no spinning HDD's. the PS fan only ramps up when needed and I can't hear it anyway. The case and Corsair fans are barely audible unless I set them to extreme. Air flow is exceptional for something built of glass. I can run 12 hr jobs with both cpu and RAM max's out - I have no heating issues. Would I buy this again? Having seen it, I might be inclined to try the smaller version but I'm very happy with it.

Pros: It's a cooler! It works as designed. The LED's are pretty and the fans are super quiet. The Windows software works. There is no software for Linux systems - you pretty much need to be a programmer.

Cons: No software for Linux systems. I think that people who are into building their own rigs might also be into using non traditional OS's. I hope Corsair will rethink this exclusionary policy. 1 egg off for this reason.
