Inexpensive but worked for me

Pros: Inexpensive and was able to locate the wood studs and metal conduits in my 70's era plastered walls.
Cons: I think if it ever hits the floor it will be done for. It's also temperamental about when you press the button and start sliding. I guess it needs a few seconds to figure out the wall depth prior to scanning.
Overall Review: Worked better than a very old name brand stud sensor I had previously.
Declining Quality

Pros: I have a mix of 8GB and 16GB models. The units I bought about two years ago are great. Very well made and very fast.
Cons: The more recent units now 6 months old that I bought at a local store because NewEgg was not carrying them for some time have all been slower and have are coming apart inside. The quality of the internals is definitely in doubt and I won't be buying them any more.
Overall Review: It's a shame they have gone cheap and ruined a good product. They were worth the premium at 2 to 3x the price of a standard comparable capacity flash drive for their durability and performance.
A good HTPC case

Pros: Fits full height cards. Reasonable working and breathing room in the case. The power supply has not given me any problems and is quiet enough for my use.
Cons: Was afraid to break the retaining tabs on the front faceplate when removing it, but it survived.
Overall Review: As many others have commented most AMD CPU motherboards don't line up to the provided baffle but I simply removed it and let the stock cooler blow the air up and out. The grating is large enough to allow the heat to rise out effectively when laid horizontally. Fits nicely in IKEA's Expedit and Markur bookshelf / storage unit cubes.
Good basic router

Pros: Inexpensive and works as-is.
Cons: Asus firmware has a wonky interface. No others to report but it's not being used to it's potential.
Overall Review: Gave it to my sister to replace a very old Viewsonic G router that was flaky. It only has one PC and an old laptop connected to it.
Powerful router

Pros: Fast processor, good range, and USB hard disk sharing. Also DD-WRT Compatible.
Cons: Stock firmware seems oddly designed when you are used to DDWRT and Linksys router interfaces. Wireless throughput under DD-WRT firmware is slower and range is reduced below stock firmware. Almost as if it went into B/G mode.
Overall Review: At my small home I use DD-WRT (14311) and at a client's large home I used the stock firmware and got great coverage. The shared disk feature was great for setting up as a Win7 backup target. v1.0.12 firmware seemed the most stable.
Good for carrying anti-malware programs

Pros: The write protect switch works great. There are very few flash drives with this feature. I packed mine with security software and turn on the switch. I can plug it into infected PCs to run the anti-malware apps without propagating the malware through getting the flash drive itself infected.
Cons: Not particularly fast. It looks like metal from the pictures but has a rather brittle type of clear plastic with the equivalent of a metal faceplate. I would not use this for high-demand environments. The write protect switch could be larger and easier to switch. A pen or paper clip is required to flip the switch.
Overall Review: I have the two of the 4GB models which are no longer available on Newegg. I gave it four stars because it fulfills it's intended purpose but for general use I prefer other flash drives.
