Excellent Buy!
Pros: -Great keyboard layout -Very quick processor -Excellent GPU -Overall quality design
Cons: A few redundant cons from other posters, 32-bit os, tad bit of bloatware. Runs a little warm at times.
Overall Review: I got this notebook for my schooling, and I must say I was a tad skeptical with there being no previous reviews before I got it. The specs however, were a bit too good to pass up. I lucked out and got a very nice notebook. Anyone on the line, I'd definitely recommend it.
Speeds Not As Advertised
Pros: Relatively small size, has 2 ports. Has an average transfer rate higher than USB 2.0.
Cons: Without the provided power cable plugged in, the transfer speeds won't go any faster than USB 2.0. With it plugged in, the speeds will only get about 2.5x faster. Around 65-70Mb/s tops. No real drivers to install. Provided cd is hardly enough.
Overall Review: I have this connected to a StarTech USB 3.0 Enclosure, with a SATA II connection to a 1Tb 32mb cache harddrive. I'm unsure if this reduced speed is caused by the hard drive in my notebook, even though it is a 7200rpm 16mb cache drive.
Great Keyboard, Very Minor Issue
Pros: -Very sturdy construction -Very good switch response -Adaptability between PS/2 and USB -Cable is detachable -Attractive red plating -Subtle blue LEDs -Anoter high quality Rosewill product
Cons: -Squeak in the backspace key -Mild squeak in the space bar
Overall Review: Having used a keyboard with mx blue switches, and for those concerned with noise, there is a very noticeable difference between the two. The blue switches are VERY clickity-clack. These brown switches are only marginally louder than standard rubber-dome keyboards. They do however have a great tactile feel while typing. The squeakiness in the backspace and space bar keys has begun to subside after a few weeks usage, but that was the only real concern while using the product. DISCLAIMER: After using this keyboard in specific, there will be moments of trauma and eternities of depression when having to use a rubber-dome keyboard again. You will NEVER go back.
Excellent power, for a low price.
Pros: In comparison to many of the other equal leveled graphics cards, the value in this is phenomenal. Temperatures are running quite well with idle around 39C and load temperatures up to 60-65C tops.
Cons: None so far with this product. Although it is a single slot card, the fan and heat sink do cover the surrounding PCI slot. Didn't come with thin mints
Overall Review: I am running CS:S with full graphics anti-aliasing and all with soaring fps. TF2 looks absolutely gorgeous on my 24" monitor at 16:10 1200(p) resolution. Full graphics on that as well. If they get more stock of these, I'd say you should get a stock of these.
Excellent Monitor!!
Pros: This monitor is a very pretty monitor as it's perched on the desk. The size is great, the colors very much defined, everything is in great working order. -Headphone jack -Great image quality hooked up to 360 -Very responsive to PC gaming -Built in TV tuner works very well, and the remote is functional.
Cons: The only few cons I could think of would probably deal with the vertical pitch adjustment, but it's really not that bad. Built in speakers could be the littlest bit louder, but they are still more than enough for a small dorm room like the one I'm located in.
Overall Review: This was definitely a strong investment to make as college student, and I definitely recommend it to any one looking for a gaming monitor, as well as a console, and tv. Buy it!
Inexpensively good
Pros: These headphones are a great deal first of all. I bought them for use with an ipod along with my computer. I noticed immediately that they sounded better than my brother's much bigger sennheisers. Since most of these require an amp for a more full sound, I got plenty more out of the smaller headset, as opposed to the larger. They are comfortable and carry a good sound for private listening.
Cons: I think the only con for me would be the length of the cable. But it comes with a winder, so it's not too bad.
Overall Review: I tested these out on a 3-hour roadtrip to see how they were comfort wise, I didn't have to take them off due to sore ears, so they were good!
