CORSAIR Hydro Series H75 CW-9060015-WW 120mm Water / Liquid CPU Cooler
CORSAIR Hydro Series H75 CW-9060015-WW 120mm Water / Liquid CPU Cooler

Pros: Easy to install. This was put into my first gaming rig. I have this cooling an i5 4670K running at 4.1GHz. The hottest its gotten was 67C/153F playing Titanfall on max graphics. The pre-applied thermal paste is easy to remove with some rubbing alcohol and paper towels/coffee filters.

Cons: The first time I started my computer up, the fans made a really annoying clicking sound. I had to rearrange the fans' power wires and tie them down to my case to stop the noise. Also the thermal paste that's pre-applied is cheap, so I removed it and slathered some aftermarket paste on my CPU.

Overall Review: The back plate bracket's nuts can come loose and fall out if you're not careful when installing. Beginner's mistake I admit. Corsair rules!

80+ Gold Indefinitely

CORSAIR HX series HX650 650 W ATX12V v2.2 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply
CORSAIR HX series HX650 650 W ATX12V v2.2 / EPS12V 2.91 SLI Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: This PSU runs super quiet and cool in my gaming rig (R9 280X GPU and an OC'd 4670K) Corsair also backs this supply with a 3 year warranty. Bought it with the rebate so that's always a plus (still waiting for it). Plenty of connections for everything. The 8 pin supplemental power cord is

Cons: The instructions are confusing, but with enough common sense I figured it out. If you mount your PSU on the bottom of your case the power switch is flipped (up for off, down for on). Don't know what they were thinking including a caring bag and cable bag. Don't really need it.

Overall Review: I'd definitely buy a more powerful supply of the same HX series if I decide to upgrade to two GPU's.

I don't get what all the fuss is about

Windows 8.1 64-bit
Windows 8.1 64-bit

Pros: This feels like an updated version of Windows 7. I got familiar with it in like 2 hours. I personally enjoy the start panel with all the apps (you can remove the ones you don't want). Must be personal preference. Easy to install on an SSD. Boots up on my gaming rig in 23 seconds!

Cons: The package's product key is tiny. You either need perfect vision or a magnifying glass to see it!

Overall Review: Have it installed for my fist gaming rig. Games run smoothly and there's a third party app that lets me put my games on the start screen.

Runs like a beast

Intel Core i5-4670K - Core i5 4th Gen Haswell Quad-Core 3.4 GHz LGA 1150 84W Intel HD Graphics Desktop Processor - BX80646I54670K
Intel Core i5-4670K - Core i5 4th Gen Haswell Quad-Core 3.4 GHz LGA 1150 84W Intel HD Graphics Desktop Processor - BX80646I54670K

Pros: This was the last component I had to buy for my first gaming rig. It is fantastic! Having it run a little overclocked for games at 4.1GHz with no problems (36C or 96F temp idle and 62C/144F full load in most games) with a 120mm radiator water cooler. Also bought it on sale for $20 off so that's always a plus!

Cons: Always comes with a lame heat sink fan that no one uses. Wish they'd release just the processor for a smaller price.

Overall Review: It couldn't be any easier to install. Just drop it in, apply the tension retainer, add some thermal paste and a cooling fan/radiator and you're good to go!

Freaking AWESOME

Thermaltake Overseer RX-I VN700M1W2N Black SECC ATX Full Tower Computer Case Standard PS2 PSU Power Supply
Thermaltake Overseer RX-I VN700M1W2N Black SECC ATX Full Tower Computer Case Standard PS2 PSU Power Supply

Pros: Well Ventilated Fans draw plenty of air Huge amounts of cable management space in the back panel Hard drive bays can be removed for more airflow Everything fits with a ton of room Quick swap dock is nice but unnecessary Removable dust filter on the bottom

Cons: No fan control on the case.

Overall Review: Don't worry about anything not being able to fit in this case except MAYBE a 240mm radiator with 4 fans. I have an XFX R9 280X video card and there is still about 3 inches of clearance between it and the optical drive bays. I also mounted another 200mm fan on the side below the window next to the video card and it clears fine.
