Synology rocks!

Pros: Great GUI. I don't mind having an awesome GUI that makes sense, uses a mouse and looks like a nice website. This not only gives the power and flexibility I want, but the ease of use that allows me to hand over simple tasks to a non-techie.
Cons: None. Been using it for almost a year without a problem...even with major software update. Bummer that the surveillance station software is EXPENSIVE to add cameras. You get one camera and then have to pay for each additional camera you want to connect. If you want to charge me for use, just tell me what this program costs, let me buy it and then connect as many cameras to it as I like.
Dead now

Pros: Big capacity. Fairly fast
Cons: Died. Now I get errors and it won't work properly. Just decided to stop after 6 months. Bummer!!! Lots of money to just have go away. Better off purchasing several cheaper and smaller capacity....have yet to see a cheaper model die.
Cheap but works

Pros: It may or ma not work for you. It is super cheap. I look at this like a disposable camera. You can pay this much for dinner out. You don't loose a lot of money when it dies. It will die...just a matter of how long. While it works, the video is ok. Enough detail to see that there are cars and what happens. Not enough to really see license plates clearly other than at a stop. Different video settings are helpful.
Cons: It will break. I would pay a little more fo have this last longer. Suction cup doesn't hold very well.
Overall Review: I'm buying my second one. I don't hate it and don't love it, but it works well for as cheap as it is.
Using 4, bought another one now
Pros: Look good, works great, does what a monitor should. I have 4 of these on my desk and just bought another for my wife. I have no problems with them. I've gone through other monitors that have died or done weird things. These just work.
Cons: none
Cool. Fun

Pros: Bought this for my daughter (16yr) to replace her aging computer. She has loved it. Uses is mostly like a desktop computer, but the touch with Win 8 is the only way to go. I wouldn't recommend Win 8 for a typical desktop, but this device (sitting low on the desk and just above the keyboard) is very convenient for the touch integration. Works well for most everything she needs. It is a bit of a niche computer, but cool too.
Cons: none
Bought 5

Pros: Bought 5 (1 as backup) for my RAID in a Synology NAS. One of these drive died after about 3 months, but WD replaced it promptly and without any hassle. Glad to have my spare and also glad that WD honors their warranty without hoops to jump through.
Cons: none
