Pros: - Glossy Finish: I've been using matte displays for so long and I've always found them kind of lacking due to the finish and this semi-glossy display has done WONDERS for me personally. Games and media that I consumed on my previous monitors look visibly clearer and colors are less muted (might attribute that to the QD layer and....) - Quantum Dot Layer: I love the new QD layer which helps to boost the range of colors that show on the monitor which was a but of a complaint on my last monitor honestly. - Thin and light: I come from a mini LED monitor so it was BULKY to carry around but this monitor is so thin and light that I was honestly shocked when I first picked it up. - 240 HZ Refresh Rate: I usually never care about this but it comes with the monitor and I got to use it on a game or two and I am happy that in the future, should I decide I want to play more 240hz games, that option is already on the monitor.

Cons: - Lack of HDR Adjustment: I see that some of the other models has the option to adjust HDR from TrueBlack ____ to EOTF BOOST or Peak1000 and this monitor does not currently have those options, however, this monitor can update firmware so it is possible that MSI will release these features on this monitor in the future. - QD OLED Panel Quirks: The QD OLED panel that this monitor uses is sensitive to direct light and possibly some ambient light which can raise the black levels and depending on your light level, this could be negligent or your screen could take on a slight magenta/purple look. This is not a specific to MSI's monitor, just a quirk with the QD Panels which Samsung Display has on the market right now lacking a traditional polarizer. You see this in many reviews but I will say that to me, I didn't really notice it but I do have the monitor under a desk hutch (kind of like a cover for a shelf on your desk if that makes sense).

Overall Review: Overall, I am happy with my purchase to finally get into OLED and even coming from an AMAZING mini LED monitor in the AOC Q273XMN, I have seen some upgrades in this monitor that had led to me deciding to keep this one and sell that one. This monitor has been an upgrade for me! It fixed my issues with matte displays!
