Works in NixOS-Linux

SYBA External USB Stereo Sound Adapter for Windows, Mac, Linux Extra Audio Source with 3.5mm Audio Mic Jack C-Media Chipset SD-CM-UAUD
SYBA External USB Stereo Sound Adapter for Windows, Mac, Linux Extra Audio Source with 3.5mm Audio Mic Jack C-Media Chipset SD-CM-UAUD

Pros: * I confirm works with Windows 10, 8.*, 7, XP * I confirm it works with many Linux OS's, NixOS, Ubuntu, Mint, Archlinux, Crunch Bang. * Length is on the smaller side, doesn't stick out as much as others do, so it makes it less likely it will get banged yanked or pulled in weird ways. * Audio is as expected, its not a studio device, I have not preformed a frequency test on it yet.

Cons: * It looks fragile, if I give it a good yank or bump it, the thing might just break or even in worse case break my USB port. * This device does not come with an USB extension cable to help prevent port damage. * It is rather wide, if you have close quarters USB ports you might have issues plugging a device in next to it.

Overall Review: I use multiple OS's so its nice to have a audio device that can carry over to all my systems with out fussing too much, in ChrunchBang my on board Audio and HDMI Audio does not work no matter what I did, however this worked first try.

Okay cable

Rosewill RCW-592 - 25-Foot Cat 6 Network Cable - Red
Rosewill RCW-592 - 25-Foot Cat 6 Network Cable - Red

Pros: The cables perform as advertised well.

Cons: The anti snag feature is made of such hard plastic that I have to use pliers to press the release tab down.

Overall Review: If you are plugging in once and not unplugging frequently these are going to be great for you, else you will be fighting the anti snag feature.

Bad, the worst power supply I have ever purchased.

Deepcool DQ650ST 650 W ATX12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Active PFC Power Supply
Deepcool DQ650ST 650 W ATX12V SLI Ready CrossFire Ready 80 PLUS GOLD Certified Active PFC Power Supply

Pros: Its black... that is about it.

Cons: First time it got plugged in, to test its operation it popped the internal 10A 250V fuse. Opened it, installed a new replacement fuse, plugged it back in, and pop goes the weasel... not a good sign on quality or integrity at all. The fuse was soldered in as to not be replaceable with out soldering.... a very poor circuit design, and mediocre internals like many PSU's these days. The instant popping of the 10A 250V fuse indicates a serious and dangerous fault, i'm very glad I didn't try to use this PSU on my hardware with out testing it with a PSU tester first.

Overall Review: I can't get it warrantied after opening the PSU even though it was DOA, and a mere fuse was tampered with in an attempt to fix it. One of the worst I have ever experienced. I would never buy a Deepcool supply again for powering anything, not even a $1 LED diode. Caveat emptor (Buyer beware).

Great Cable!

Rosewill RC-6-USB3-AM-MB-BK Black USB3.0 A Male to Micro B Male Cable, Black
Rosewill RC-6-USB3-AM-MB-BK Black USB3.0 A Male to Micro B Male Cable, Black

Pros: It has been more than a year since I bought this cable, it still works to this day, I don't plug it in / out often though. I bought it expecting its transfer speed to be degraded due to its length; I am happy to say it does not appear to have degraded transfer speeds.

Cons: is it a con that after about two years It still works like new? I have to say wow.

Overall Review: Its funny to see that a cable outlasted the connector it plugs into. (really cracks me up) I have cell phones that have similar ports, its fascinating to notice that such a old cable can still get the job done.

Still works after a year!

B-link 150mbps Wireless Wifi b/g/n Router AP Client Wireless bridge Repeater
B-link 150mbps Wireless Wifi b/g/n Router AP Client Wireless bridge Repeater

Pros: I set it up a year ago and I have not had to fix it even once. If you want a device that just works and will work for a long time this is one to get. If you don't need fast. This little guy has continued to work and chug along at my sisters house, I was able to use it to get a 54Mbps AP Client setup, that is where the device connects to a WIFI network rather than broadcasting one. The following are plugged into its (100 Mbps) Ethernet connections 1. Xbox 360 2. Direct TV Receiver 3. Blue-ray DVD Player with Netflix It connects to the ISP via a WiFi in AP Client mode to share that connection with all the Ethernet ports.

Cons: It's only 54Mbps at its best. It will usually max out its throughput when your streaming HD Netflix shows. 54Mbps is pushing it because your only really seeing about 15 Mbps MAX in best case over WiFi.

Overall Review: If it had N or AC WiFi ability it would be more future proof but as it stands this device has very limited capability to do bandwidth intensive tasks such as HD Streaming like Netflix, gaming on Xbox Live is fine as that's only time sensitive and not data heavy.

Very good power supply

Thermaltake TR2 Bronze 700W SLI / CrossFire Ready Continuous Power ATX12V v2.31 / EPS v2.92 80 PLUS BRONZE CertifiedActive PFC Power Supply Haswell Ready TR-700
Thermaltake TR2 Bronze 700W SLI / CrossFire Ready Continuous Power ATX12V v2.31 / EPS v2.92 80 PLUS BRONZE CertifiedActive PFC Power Supply Haswell Ready TR-700

Pros: Pulled 60+ amps through the 4, 3 pin connectors and was able to blow my 30 Amp fuses multiple times on my Bitcoin miners, with out the power supply tripping. This is a good solid power supply if you have a really beefy graphics card or some other power hungry 6 pin equipment.

Cons: Cheap cabling and virtually no sleaving on any of the wire runs, and the wires to the 6 pin connectors were uncomfortably hot after mere minutes of use, but did not fail or catch fire. It survived blowing two 30 Amp fuses on one of my overclocked miners.

Overall Review: If you have a power hungry machine and don't want to worry about it having enough oomph to get the job done look no farther, for this price range this is about as good as I have ever seen.
