Overall Review: to fix the darkness issue make sure you're using a high contrast image and also turn the brightness down. should give you that quality you saw advertised. i had the same problem at first.

Pros: love this drive. Lightscribe is great. can't get enough of it.

Cons: probly a fluke but mine didn't read or write dvd's. so im finally sending it back since i have to back up my HD
