Pros: Technically excellent Mobo, with many features for standard and overclocking usage
Cons: Southbridge chip burnt out after 15 months, something which is apparently a relatively common problem with this board and stems from some sort of issue related to connecting external devices to it via front USB ports - many of the burnouts have been reported after just such a connection. If you buy this board, take care to use the rear (grounded) USB ports rather than those on the front of the case - I've read various opinions on exactly why the USB situation causes the burnouts, but many seem to agree that there's some sort of inherent fault in the Intel Southbridge chipset that is leaving it very vulnerable to static electricity charges, perhaps.
Overall Review: Don't take my word for it - google on the subject and you'll come across many cases of this burnout problem. Apparently ASUS is aware of the problem and is accepting RMA's for the issue - I have yet to hear a peep from them after 3 days, and have ordered in a new one from Newegg as I can't afford to sit around forever waiting on ASUS. Their very poor customer service is legendary.
