Great board, does what it should

Pros: Great price for what you get. I bought this, like many others, to overclock a Sandy Bridge Core i5 2500 and it has not disappointed. Brand new build and it fired up perfectly first time. Recognized all components without a hitch. Get yourself a solid aftermarket CPU heatsink and a good case and you are set to OC with this thing. For an SLI setup the nicest thing about this board is that if you're going with a dual SLI and not triple SLI, there's a nice gap between your 2 video cards for better airflow because there are 2 regular PCI slots between 2 of the PCI-Express slots. I thought that was nice because normally on SLI setups you have to deal with cards sitting right on top of one another which is ok provided you have adequate cooling but this could be a nice plus for people who buy Mid-Tower cases and want to run SLI. So far I'm pretty impressed. Been running my core i5 OC'ed to 4.6 straight for days now without any problems whatsoever. Only time will tell.
Cons: None yet. Seems that a good portion of lower reviews for this board are due to memory issues on error code 45 - make sure you go to the ASRock website first and verify your RAM is compatible.

Just buy it. Why are you still reading?

Pros: quiet fast crushes all current games in 2k resolution on ultra
Cons: Big. I just laughed out loud for a minute as I inspected this card when I pulled it out of the bag. I am upgrading from a GTX 1070 which isn't small - this is surely bigger. I have a 932 HAF case which is quite large and if this card was much bigger it would push up against my expansion rails.
Overall Review: I started light on my black friday upgrades this year - CPU, mobo, and ram. Ended up also replacing my old 1080p screen from 2011 with a predator x27b thinking I'd see how it goes with my GTX 1070. I had been reading that for my monitor (165 hz and 2k 1440p), the sweet spot is the GTX 1080 Ti. I saw some of my new games weren't able to run at max settings which annoys me so I just went ahead and tacked on this card for good measure. Well worth it. I saw 1080p on my 1070 GTX, 1440p on my 1070 GTX, and now 1440p on my 1080 GTX all within about a week's time. The differences are significant. Buy it and don't look back.
So far, so good. Very cool temps

Pros: - straightforward install, pre-applied paste - quiet - cools extremely well
Cons: - none to report yet, will update if I didn't win silicon lottery and end up with a failed pump at some point. For now everything works
Overall Review: Works very well, I purchased this mainly because I was upgrading my CPU to an i7 8700k which notoriously run hot. So far it has kept my core temps below 55C with Shadow of War running for 4 hours on max settings. Runs very very quiet. Some people have reported issues with pumps failing so i guess we'll see - my recommendation is just make sure you are always running CoreTemp and set up some rules that you are comfortable with for notifications and/or emergency shut down procedures. Because if the water pump fails, your CPU is gonna get really hot really fast.
Rockstar awesome card

Pros: Bought 2 of these for a new SLI build and they are wicked. I've always been a fan of EVGA - my old system running an EVGA 8800GTX is still going strong after almost 5 years. I expect no different from these cards. Crushes everything thrown at it. Battlefield 3 demo cannot slow these down. Witcher 2 on ultra specs cannot slow these down. Expecting that when Skyrim comes out, ultra specs will not slow these down. Buy one if you want to play many games at solid settings for a long time to come. Buy two if you're nuts like me. I haven't ever gone SLI before (running a 24" monitor) and honestly bought two of them moreso because I just wanted to build an SLI system to see how much I could really gain out of it. I think that anybody running 19" - 22" will definitely be served well by just 1 of these cards.
Cons: none. Are you kidding me?

Powerful, modular, works well

Pros: Bought this to power my new SLI build. In the past I've always used OCZ power supplies with no failures. Done 4 builds with them now and the oldest is going on 5 years with their GameXtreme 600W still going strong. That being said, I hadn't seen much good new stuff for OCZ so I went with this Cooler Master and it certainly is doing its job so far. Lots of cables, modular, plenty of length on the power cables - it's a one-stop shop. You can power 3 graphics cards in SLI with this bad boy if you really wanted. This thing is juicing quite a few components and my OC'ed core i5.
Cons: none

Awesome CPU, great for OC

Pros: I was determined to get a SandyBridge for my new gaming build. Paired this up with an ASRock p67 extreme4 board and a Cooler Master Hyper 212 heatsink and it overclocks to the moon. 4.6ghz no problems with appropriate settings in the BIOS to facilitate the overclock. This thing is fast. Nothing else to say. Just very, very fast and tuner-friendly.
Cons: none
