I love it
Pros: Has room for an Nvidia 8800 GTX, 120 mm fans, water cooling etc - rare for HTPC. Well made (solid) and I've had no problems with the remote control using Vista. The function dial, voluem dial, remote and display are all well made, feel professional and slick. This is a great case!
Cons: Not really a con but obviously to fit into 17 inches wide and accomodate 120 mm fans above the motherboard it needs to be both deep and tall. This is a solid and big case - but that is what you are paying for.
Overall Review: My set up - Asus P5K deluxe, XLR8 8800 GTX, Thermaltake liquid cooling (with fan on the inside), LG blu-ray / HD DVD, 4GB corsair ram, Vista Ulitmate. Overall - a great case.
Exactly what I wanted
Pros: It has a simple front facing power button so that I can power off all of my equipment at night and not pay for a bunch of stand-by bleed. It can be mounted vertically or horizontally. It is quiet with a simple green LED when everything is working. I comes with a built in network switch for two.
Cons: I would have spaced the power sockets at the back a little further apart, or allowed them to rotate - but at least there are 8 of them.
Overall Review: I have the supplied software running on Vista and it is communicating with the hardware via USB. But really after the first day or so I didn't need to know what %load I was at and what the supply voltage was. It was interesting to see the effect of switching on individual pieces of equipment. I'm running two pcs (1 vista, 1 linux), 1 av receiver amp, 1 22" monitor, 7 speakers, a KVM switch, 1 rocket fish rear speaker radio. Obviously during a power cut I'd shut some of this down but at least I'd have time!
