quiet

Pros: Very quiet, moves air efficiently
Cons: i bought 2...was more expensive than a 4 pack of the same fans. this is TOTALLY MY FAULT.
Overall Review: just buy the 4 pack and use what you can give the rest away to a buddy. never know when u will be able to cash in on that favor=)
Great! and then it breaks

Pros: -very loud!sound quality is good but i don't think its realsurround sound, more like simulated. -Mic is excellent!
Cons: it breaks easily, i broke mine sliding it off my head. the extendable arms have a serious design flaw that i simply cannot forgive. there is no spring to hold them to your head, it is simply the plastic under pressure. when you take them off you are forced to put even more pressure on the arms and this is when they break.
Overall Review: its a real shame that a visibly beefy head set has such a frail structure.
Perfect

Pros: Stable 4.3GHZ @ 68c.paid under 70$ + i got it as a combo so saved another 15$ on a ASUS B85MOBO. low power consumption. very fast for basic computing.
Cons: - stock HSF. ugly and a bit noisy but actually keeps the little beast quite cool so...its free and it works...not really a con!
Overall Review: -G3258 -Asus B85 -4GB patriot ram(spare parts) -ASus 5870(spare parts) -MATX case(spare parts) -450W unbranded PS(spare parts) - samsung 500GB HDD(Spare parts) so this little project was unplanned, not needed and simply for fun. was thinking about giving it to my younger brother. turns out it is now my HTPC ...and so much more. it will run pretty much any of my games on steam (med graphics sometimes), all emulators flawlessly, xbmc. i have not actually used my main desktop in well over a month(other than for itunes library...). i was able to get it boot at 4.5 but stress test would shut'er down. i'm confident with a superior MOBO and some decent cooling my chip could be stable at higher...by why support a 70$ CPU with $$$ of parts? this is essentially a junk yard PC and i am very impressed
Awesome Budget Slim

Pros: this was placed in a work computer (HP Compaq 6200) to run games on the sly, notably Diablo III. all i can say is wow! with the rebate this is a steal for a very capable videocard. it was simple to change the back plate and install (why use VGA anyways?) drivers were quick to install and it has been very silent.
Cons: nothing yet, might have been nice to get a free game but hey, its 60$.
very nice!

Pros: runs everything at very respectable FPS. price is the same as the previous generation of equal power. forward thinking with DX11.
Cons: 128bit vs 256. not sure why they didn't make it 256bit, pretty sure the cost would have been negligible. if you set the fan to 100% manually it sounds like a Grain Bin Ventilation Blower (Ask farmer, he'll tell you thats loud) but iv never seen it go over 50% automatically
Overall Review: i have not experienced the driver issues others have mentioned. on the same note i dont really enjoy using CCC. never quite sure if i actually changed settings or if its returning to default. i was able to push the card to the max allowable O.C setting and play crisis for and hour(all high , 4X aa) and it was up to 62C. seems fine to me. i plan on getting a second to try crossfire next month(gotta pay visa off first, christmas can be expensive)
okay

Pros: 15$, Comparatively very easy to install. comes with more than enough thermal paste. looks pretty good(the parts that are visible when installed).
Cons: it is only a 3 pin fan so no variable speed(which i prefer) but it is very quiet all the same. my real concern is with the finish of the base. where the heat pipes contact the CPU there are huge grooves between the copper and aluminum. the finish on the aluminum and copper is also far below what you would expect from a stock heat sink. if it was 5$ more and these issues were solved i would be a 5 for sure and an excellent option for any replacement HSF.
Overall Review: regardless of the quality concerns i have, it works well and keeps the temps down reasonably well. it was only 15$. the fan pushes the heat directly towards my back exhaust fan rather than spreading it around like a stock HSF. overall i think i should have spent an extra 10$ but i dont feel this was a bad buy at all.
