Great Drive, Great Price!
Pros: It's the fastest and most reliable 7200rpm drive out, and for the price - you can't beat it! They are indeed one of Seagate's top drives - compared to previous drives, the Barracuda ES drives are quieter, vibrate less, and run extremely cool... not to mention that they're fast as hell for a single 7.2k drive :) I got one for use as a drive for all of my music and videos, loved it so much within the first day that I went ahead and bought a second one for use as an overall backup/storage drive.
Cons: Cons? I don't think there are any... maybe just the fact that I'm going to have to wait another couple days until I get my second drive haha
Overall Review: Seagate has hit the mark - the 7200.10 series is already great, but the Seagate ES drives are made with even tighter tolerances - and for the price they can't be beat for high-end, reliable storage. Thanks Seagate for a great product, and Thanks to Newegg for fast shipping and great service once again!
Great Card, Great Price
Pros: It was a great card for a great price - I got it to replace the 64mb card that came with my Motorola i580 phone
Cons: none
Overall Review: great card - fast read/write with a USB SD card reader, works great in my phone thumbs up for SanDisk & Newgg :)
Simply Amazing
Pros: First off, props to Newegg's fast (and free) shipping with this case - great service as always! Otherwise, I can't identify anything on this case that ISN'T a pro - everything is perfect, and of the amazing quality that every Lian Li product is made with. It is such a simple case, and thats what makes it beautiful, yet always extremely functional.
Cons: The only thing I disliked about this case was the fact that it came with a silver PSU backplate, but I ordered a black one from silverpcs.com and all is good :)
Overall Review: The first time I saw this case, I thought it was ugly, but I came back and thought it was the most beautiful case in the world 3 days later. This case is truly a full tower case in size, but the internals for the motherboard, etc. feel like its a mid tower, but there's still tons of room for everything. Lian Li has addressed every single detail in this case - the solid 2mm thick aluminum panels used to construct the case, the one-screw door removal, and of course the SICK new illuminated power/restart buttons.
Sneaky's 955XE 101
Pros: INSANELY fast processor - overclocked to 4.67ghz (333*14) DAILY, 5.05ghz max. (so far) with water cooling the Presler 955XE when overclocked actually runs COOLER than a 660 Prescott 2M at stock! 65nm tech = A WINNER! this beast runs two superpi 1M's ran simaltaneously - BOTH under 30 seconds, or FOUR simaltaneous instances, all under 40 seconds - I cannot emphasize this further, THIS PROCESSOR IS A BEAST!!!
Cons: The price bites you as always, but thats what you gotta pay when you want THE fastest processor available from Intel right now
Overall Review: this is THE processor to have if you are a heavy multitasker or if you're a benchmarker and just want to have THE fastest processor Intel has definitely done the right thing by switching to the 65nm tech. for their Cedar Mills & especially their Presler's, the overclockability has increased, the heat output has decreased, and the size of the smile on my face has just increased to new proportions upon recieving this processor.
Comments: This is my first LCD yet, and it replaced my 5-year old 17" (16" viewable) CRT, and hot poop! This LCD is one of the nicest ones that I've seen yet - the screen borders are so thin that it seems like they're not even there. I recieved mine with absolutely NO dead/stuck pixels or backlight problems, and in CS:Source, it games amazing with no ghosting at all, plus Adobe Photoshop CS2 is a whole new world to me now - so much more space to work, less strain on my eyes, and a much crisper image to work with. Definite thumbs up to Samsung for this amazing monitor, and another thumbs up for NewEgg for the extremely fast shipping!
OCZ Powerstream SLI 600w
Comments: I think I'm the first one to get my hands on one of these, and oh boy is it a treat! Same beefy power as the original 600w, but with two EMI shielded PCI-E 6-pin connectors instead of just one. They also changed the LED fan in the rear to a blue one, which looks a lot better IMO. Props to OCZ for another sweet product!
