Smallest SFF without external power brick!

Pros: I looked at many HTPC cases as I wanted to build the absolute smallest build and still retain enough power to utilize this as a mini-server. This case met those requirements and my build can easily be utilized as a true HTPC on steroids.
Cons: I know they were shooting for the absolute smallest form factor, but I think only putting in 1 slot for a video to be a drawback. They should have splurged here and put in an extra slot (maybe 1/2 an inch wider) so that this case could be used for the absolute smallest gamer box! This comes close to dropping an egg, but its not being marketted for this ability so just not enough to drop an egg.
Overall Review: Built a mini virtualbox server using this heatsink: Silverstone ML05B case Silverstone ST45SF 450W SFX12V power supply ASRock Z87E-ITX mb Intel i5-4670K cpu Asus R7240 2gb 128bit video card 1 G.Skill 240pin (2x8) 16gb 2400 DDR3 memory 1 Samsung 840 EVO 250gb SSD
Great cpu, poor company deployment

Pros: Very low power. This cpu will handle 1080p plex streaming from a freenas build! Currently, only this company has an embedded motherboard solution. Hope to see ASRock take their j1900 platform and boost it with this cpu in the future!
Cons: ECS is a fly by night company out of Asia. I wish I could say more as I really wanted this j2900 solution to work. However, as I susspected, they did not put a big enough heatsink on the processor. Reached 75c at full load and system started throttling. Performed worse than ASRock J1900 solution due to this in same conditions.
Overall Review: If ECS hopes to get a niche in the US market, they have to learn and learn quickly you can't skimp out. Cutting cost by putting an inadequate heatsink gives them a bad rep which will take a lot in order to regain customer's trust. If you absolutely need a low power solution, look at an AMD 5350 platform. It's about 10 watts more in power than the J1900 and J2900, but the speed boost is worth that extra wattage! I would have stayed with this J2900 had they used a decent heatsink on their product. I just wish other competitors would get their J2900's out!
Excellent PS4 HD upgrade!

Pros: Just got my PS4 recently and had to mod it somehow. Love that Sony does not make the hd proprietary like Micro$uck does. Sorry, but just think its lame to make things proprietary and gauge customers by selling those parts at an extensive mark up.
Cons: They don't make these things in 2TB yet.
Overall Review: Excellent mod for a PS4.
Excellent for HTPC builds!

Pros: HTPC builds are very limited on space. I found this heatsink to be exactly the right size for my Silverstone ML05B case. I replaced the fan with a Cougar 120mm x 25mm fan and was still able to mount the fan onto the case mount point without any modifications! True it may not compete with many other top end heatsinks, but for ITX desktop cases, this is the perfect match!
Cons: The fan that comes with the heatsink is cheap, but will do the job. My case had exactly enough room for me to mount a larger 120mm x 25mm Cougar. This drawback is not worth enough to drop an egg.

Great buy so far

Pros: Bought this hd to upgrade one of my laptops hard drive from 160gb. Installed new copy of Win7 and the drive performance is better than previous drive for sure.
Cons: Still only 5400 rpm. Would like to see a similar model from WD come out to support 7200 rpm.
Overall Review: WD has been the best, reliable hard drive manufacture for many years. With SSD drive becoming more and more prevalent, that may change. For now, I recommend sticking with WD for all your hard drive needs.
Great buy!

Pros: For the price, can't beat it. 22" of beautiful desktop. This should tide me over till the prices of large LCDs come down or the OLED technology hits the shelves
Cons: Only problem I've noticed is when the screen is complete black, the edge will display a white glow. Have not notice any visual issues during normal viewing though.
Overall Review: If you're like me and holding out on getting a large lcd tv for your pc, this is an optimal solution.
