Great little device.

Pros: Price. Light. Good looking. Works exactly as adverstised.
Cons: None that I can think of.
Overall Review: I keep the cable modem and 7-port wireless router in the basement office, but I have a backup PC and laptop upstairs in the living room. Living in a large brick house makes for miserable wireless connectivity, so I decided to physically run a CAT5 cable from the basement into the upstairs area. Setup with the DES-1005E was simply a matter of plugging the CAT5 from the downstairs router to port 1 on the switch, then plugging my PC and laptop into the switch next. No fuss, no muss, it just works.
Avoid at all cost...please!

Pros: Good sound, best by far of all the Creative cards, especially in Medieval Total War. When it works, that is.
Cons: Inescapable and constant BSOD's. I tried installing, uninstalling, different PCI-E slot, beta drivers, RAM testing, etc etc. Finally got fed up and pulled the Audigy 4 from my wifes computer...lo' and behold...NO CRASHES ALL WEEK! I was lucky to get through the day with the X-Fi without a heart-stopping BSOD and hideous screeching from the speakers. I have been using Creative sound cards since the SB16 back in 1998, but this is the first card Ive purchased that has been nothing but a thorn in my side. Again, avoid at all costs. I considered getting the X-Fi PCI, but I see that those cards are BSOD bait as well. I wont buy another Creative product anytime soon and it appears Creative couldnt care less. I will prolly RMA it to Newegg next week.
Overall Review: System specs are Phenom 9950 Black Edition, 4GB DDR2 RAM, XP 32-bit, Radeon 4870x2, Raptor 150GB HD, Creative 7700 7.1 speakers.
A simple yet interesting case.

Pros: The RGB strips and fan are well done.
Cons: The metal thickness is so weak that it will bend by simply picking up the case by the top panel. The 5.25" bay places the DVD tightly against the motherboard and cable assemblies. Not a deal breaker, but you might want to install the DVD after everything else is in place.
Overall Review: I needed a small, inexpensive case that had a bit of flair to it. I keep a backup PC in the basement for testing and in case my main PC has problem. Asus Crosshair VI Hero, Ryzen 5 3600, Vega 56 Red Dragon, and an old X-Fi Titanium sound card and fit perfectly well into the case. I am not a big fan of RGB, but this case offers an unobtrusive bit of color that I feel is a good introduction to the concept. Very much worth what I paid, with a good hardware kit to boot.
Why don't they make good RAM anymore?

Pros: The RGB is subdued and visually pleasing.
Cons: Does not run anywhere near the advertised speed of 4400, and is limited to 3200.
Overall Review: This is the second set of RAM I have ordered for my Asus Crosshair VIII Hero with 3900X CPU. This set will not post above 3200, even with 1.45v set in BIOS. Given the price, I suppose this is as good as can be expected lately.
Borderline scam

Pros: The rotating RGB colors and polished heatsinks are certainly eye catching.
Cons: While advertised as 4800mhz, this set could not get above 3200mhz. I tried on both an older but stable Crosshair VII board, and on a brand new Crosshair VIII board, and neither would maintain 3200+, and choosing DOCP profile in BIOS is laughably crashworthy. If these modules actually ran smooth at or even near 4800 they might be considered a good option. As it is, these appear to be bargain chips slapped into a shiny wrapper. This is sad, as my B-Die 3200 modules I picked up for my original 1800X build were rock solid and still in use 3 years later. What happened, G-Skill?
Overall Review: Are the flashy lights a Bait & Switch?
Pretty good.

Pros: Fans are powerful.
Cons: Build quality not so great.
Overall Review: This cooler has two large fans that I can actually feel blowing on my face, even with the laptop sitting on it. The top metal grate is thin and easily disfigured, but you might not notice with a laptop in place. Shipping from China was a bit slow.
H*ly Shipping time, Batman!
I think it took 3+ weeks to arrive from China, but it works perfectly.
Pretty good.
Fast shipping.
