Excellent Verbatim quality.
Pros: 100% success so far. No coasters. BD-R backups have all worked with my Samsung SE-506AB/TSBD burner and Sony Blu-ray player.
Cons: Expensive
Mixed Fellings
Pros: Excellent picture on analog (digital doesn't work and Samsung is replacing this monitor). Very nice, height-adjustable stand. Awesome sized screen (the monitor is wider than my keyboard). Samsung's technical support (once you get past level 1) is pretty good.
Cons: I received this monitor yesterday. I hooked it up with DVI only. It would not work. After trying the analog connection, I finally had a picture. I updated the drivers on my video card and updated my computer on Windows Update. After checking and rechecking all the connections and multiple reboots, I broke down and called Samsung. The level 1 tech was not much help. After waiting 40 minutes, I spoke with a level 2 tech. He was friendly and helpful. We tested my graphic card's DVI port by using the analog adapter which came with the graphics card. We then determined the problem was with the monitor and not the graphics card. There is very little documentation. There is a "quick setup guide" but it is generic for all Samsung LCD monitors. The one pictured doesn't even remotely resemble this monitor.
Overall Review: The level 2 tech assured me this was an isolated case. A new monitor (not refurbished) will be shipped. I was told it should arrive within 5 - 7 days. Still, it is extremely frustrating to buy a brand new product that only partially works.
Great!
Pros: Great design, easy installation, very affordable.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I bought this kit to upgrade a new Dell XPS from the factory built 8GB or RAM to the 16GB max. Installation took less than five minutes.
Verbatim quality, budget priced.
Pros: 100% success with these so far. No coasters. Compatible with my Samsung SE-506AB/TSBD and Sony BDP-S580 player. Cheap!
Cons: Not compatible with some hardware.
Overall Review: If your equipment is compatible with this inexpensive, LTH media, this is the way to go. After the NewEgg coupon code, these were half the price of the regular, non-LTH type, Verbatim BD-R media.
Great!
Pros: Small. Portable. USB powered. Works with a desktop, laptop, netbook or as a standalone player with a USB equipped monitor or television.
Cons: Expensive.
Overall Review: I've made 4 Blu-ray backups so far with no problems. I've successfully burned Verbatim BD-R and Verbatim BD-R LTH media.
Great value.
Pros: 2 games for the price of 1. Literally hours and hours of gameplay potential. Great value.
Cons: Both games are a little dated in comparison to newer, superior titles such as Saints Row: The Third.
