Yes!
Pros: Construction and materials. Included equipment and accessories. Good documentation. Fast to heat up and switches modes quickly. Good value compared to what other manufactures provide in an espresso machine.
Cons: Cup height/clearance. (Just a 1/4" - 1/2" would have been great.) Can get messy with grinds. Discharges steam too quickly when switching from steam to brew mode.
Overall Review: We had a budget super automatic. Purchased this Breville. Made one cup of espresso. Gave the super automatic away. Just that simple. I am a big coffee drinker and advocate of French Press, but new to espresso. There is a learning curve, but Breville tries to help you along with good documentation, easy controls and solid equipment. The unit has a couple cons that could easily be improved upon, but it deserves 5 eggs when compared to other devices in the price range. I like it and look forward to updating my review in the future.
Almost a good buy
Pros: Price, Plug and play, Easy to Configure, Windows 8 Compatible, good read rates and reliable writing.
Cons: Failure rate, hardware reliability, unknown issues causing card disconnects from the system.
Overall Review: Purchased on 10/21/2013 and installed quickly after. Installation was easy and the configuration was standard as far as raid cards go. Eaverything was good for a month and I started getting random reboots/crashes, but couldn't figure out why. Finally realized the this raid car was randomly disconnecting. The card will simply drop from device manager and cannot be added back to the system without a reboot. This happens at various times and I cannot determine a cause or consistency. I use the raid car for my Data drives and not for the OS. This scenario allows for the raid to disconnect without effecting the current running state (if no data is being accessed). It is puzzling and disappointing. Since I cannot determine the cause I am more inclined to just return the device and purchase a card from a more reliable manufacturer. Unfortunately, this happened a month after install and I am not looking forward to reconfiguring my raid so soon.
So far, so good
Pros: Low price. Came with starter ink. Refills not too costly. Easy install Made by Brother.
Cons: small paper tray
Overall Review: Not enough time using it to test durability. However, it worked great right out of the box. Easy setup and connected right to my wireless. The paper tray doesn't hold a large stack of paper, so expect to add paper frequently if yo print a lot. I will give it a few runs and see if it warrants a fifth egg.
This looks like it's gonna last...
Pros: Simple instructions and only 15 minute construction. Strong/Heavy components that feel solid enough to last for some time. Good straps that seem stronger than what I expected to be included. Good mounting position on my VW hatchback Cinching hitch bolt to keep the riser tight.
Cons: Wheel mounts could use more position adjustments. Does not fold up 90* to straight vertical.
Overall Review: The unit is relatively heavy, but I don't want to make that a negative as I think it may benefit towards the overall longevity. The wheel mounts adjust by a set-screw that goes into small holes tapped in the support bar. This is a cheap and efficient way of setting the mount position, but it does the job well. The issue is that they could have added a couple more holes per mount to provide a bit more adjustability. It would have been a small adjustment in the manufacturing processes and no extra parts needed. I mounted two bikes (small 27.5, med 26) and didn't have to much hassle. Should be a smooth process after a couple trips. I haven't gone on a trip yet, so 4 eggs until I get a road test. Rating could go +/- after further review.
Support ended
Pros: Used to work nicely
Cons: Company will not provide support windows 8.1. Drives not recognized correctly in windows device manager. Constant error messages. What used to be a decent device for the price is now disconnected from my system.
Overall Review: If a company cannot provide reliable driver support for their devices, then it is just another piece of low quality junk. No support means no future purchases of this brand.
So far, So good!
Pros: Functions as expected out of the box. I formatted it on my desktop and dropped it into my Surface Pro. I installed some applications directly to the drive and they worked great.
Cons: None so far
