Intel Core i7-3930K - Core i7 3rd Gen Sandy Bridge-E 6-Core 3.2GHz (3.8GHz Turbo) LGA 2011 130W Desktop Processor - BX80619i73930K

Pros: absolute beast even @ stock clocks this processor crushes my old I7 920 set to a 4 GHz 24/7 OC. I have the revised stepping version of this chip .Using a H100 in push pull config idle temps are around 27 deg C. lots of complaints on requiring a bundle to buy this processor. I bought mine from here bundled with an handheld temp checker for less that some other retailers are asking for just the processor.

Cons: none, other that Intel taking a while to get the chips to market

CORSAIR Hydro Series H100 (CWCH100) Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
CORSAIR Hydro Series H100 (CWCH100) Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

Pros: super easy install into my Cooler master X full tower case. I added two fans for a push pull configuration being controlled by a strike fan controller. I removed the factory thermal compound in favor of arctic silver. So far on a 3930K Cpu at idle I am seeing 26 to 27 deg C

Cons: None

ASUS Rampage IV Extreme LGA 2011 Intel X79 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Extended ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: I bought this board when the first came to the market and just now got the processor to finish the build. I am very Impressed with the quality of this board, components and attention to detail of this board are the best I have seen. system booted on the first try with no issues at all. I am using all of the extra ATX power connectors on this board for memory and cpu stabilization. The Bios is really good, took me a little while to get used to its lay out coming from Gigabyte/traditional bios, this board also has many features all of which are great tools for OC'ing. the windows interface software is also the best I have used to date. so far I am very happy with this product. I7 3930K, 32G 8 sticks of Corsair Vengeance memory, Corsair 1200W PSU, Intel 120Gb SSD, WD 160GB 10K RPM Raptor for slave to SSD, WD 750GB black for storage, 2 GTX 580's in SLI, Corsair H100 CPU cooler in push pull config, blue ray and DVD burner drives, Strike fan controller all in a cooler master X full towe

Cons: none
