Not happy with Brother
Pros: Fast printer with good features for the price.
Cons: Printer failed after 10 months and 28,000 pages. Brother kept me on the phone for 45 minutes only to tell me that I would have to take it into a repair center and possibly pay for the repair because the defect may not be covered under the warranty when printer failed under normal use way under the manufacturers recommended duty cycle of 20,000 pages per month (I used it for an average of 2,800 pages per month). Just as a fellow reviewr said, it did fail after 10 months, This printer is JUNK in my opinion.
Overall Review: Absolutely do not buy this printer, and unless you want poor customer support (or just cross your fingers and hope nothing goes wrong) I do not recommend Brother products.
BAD customer service from Brother
Pros: Printer is fast.
Cons: Document feeder folds edges and jams often. Brother support is TERRIBLE. Printer died within warranty period but Brother support gives you the 3rd degree and makes you feel like its your fault the printer died. Lies and tells you that using aftermarket tonners/drums vaids warranty. By law,using remanufactured/compatable consumables does not void a warranty. Its just not worth it to by a Brother printer due to the hassle you go through when a problem arrises, and it will.
Overall Review: I also do not recommend Brother printers.
Not Recommended
Pros: Brand name recognition.
Cons: Incompatable with some systems. Tech support not helpfull. Customer service uncooperative with return process.
Overall Review: Not happy with this card at all.
