Very satisfied with performance vs. price
Pros: Clear image. Brighter at max settings than you would ever want it to be. No ghosting apparent in games like Quake 4, Battlefield 2, etc. Above expectations for the price.
Cons: Very minor ghosting in fast moving video. Saw an action movie and noticed a tiny bit of ghosting only twice with my eyes glued to the screen. Side to side viewing is fine but monitor goes dark when looked at from above or below. Shouldnt be a problem unless you can't set it up to be at your level. Another con listed in a review is that the monitor uses overdrive technology that overcompensates when switching from bright to dark pictures but the difference in overcompensation is lower than a usual LCD undercompensating by over 30%. In other words it's better than the standard but hasn't perfected the technology. Either way no other company has perfected it and again I can't even notice the difference from my CRT.
Overall Review: I'm writing this review for everyone concerned with ghosting and switching from a CRT to an LCD. I've been researching all-around performing lcd monitors for the past 5 months and this was what I settled on. I needed something good for both gaming and graphic design. The whole ghosting problem with LCD's that people mentioned worried me. But while the LCD has cons from what I noticed and reviews I read, the cons are minor compared to other monitors in the same price range. This monitor is easily bright and clear enough for any still image purpose and I could only notice ghosting on very fast moving images. If I wasn't looking for it I never would have noticed. I'm also switching from a 19' CRT and I don't regret it one bit. The people who complained about ghosting must be expecting practically no flaws and you can't expect that with an LCD especially for this price. Try spending 700+ and you might find something better. I'm picky about what I buy and I'm happy with this LCD.
