Most Favorable Review

Great value

GIGABYTE Radeon HD 4350 512MB GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Low Profile Ready Graphics Card GV-R435OC-512I
GIGABYTE Radeon HD 4350 512MB GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Low Profile Ready Graphics Card GV-R435OC-512I

Pros: I was looking to upgrade from Intel integrated graphics and go to two screens. I am not a gamer at all--I use my machine for business type stuff. This did the trick. It did increase my Windows 7 performance indices from 3.5/3.1 to 3.7/5.8. Windows 7 loaded the drivers pretty much automatically without having to use the Gigabyte drivers or go to the ATI website. The two monitor setup was easy.

Cons: I might detect a bit louder noise because of the fan on the card, but it is not bad.

Overall Review: There are tons of cards out there and lots of reviews, so it can be confusing. This card is a great value given its price and what it can do.

One stick bad

Mushkin Enhanced Essentials 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model 991373
Mushkin Enhanced Essentials 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model 991373

Pros: This memory works nicely once you get two good sticks.

Cons: One stick of the pair was not recognized in my HP Presario.

Overall Review: I contacted newegg by phone, and they did a good job of sending me another pair and helping me return the bad pair.

Ran well 4 years

GIGABYTE Radeon HD 4350 512MB GDDR2 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Low Profile Ready Graphics Card GV-R435OC-512I

Pros: Ran two monitors flawlessly. Setup was easy.

Cons: Fan has started failing 4 years after purchase. Pondering what to do...

Easy install

EDIMAX EW-7128Gn N150 PCI Wireless Adapter for PC and Mac
EDIMAX EW-7128Gn N150 PCI Wireless Adapter for PC and Mac

Pros: Easy installation on Windows XP.

Cons: Don't have any yet.

Overall Review: My computer is not far from the wireless access point, but there are a couple of cement block walls intervening, and even with the extended antenna I have some trouble getting decent connection speed. However, the connection has not dropped, which is very good given the conditions I'm testing it under.
