Great value card

ASUS Radeon HD 7750 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Graphics Card HD7750-1GD5
ASUS Radeon HD 7750 1GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 Graphics Card HD7750-1GD5

Pros: - Low power requirements (running just fine on a stock 280w PS - Quiet - Runs cool - Excellent performance

Cons: - High price point for market segment

Overall Review: Wanted to buy this from newegg but they ran out of stock before I could order. Very happy with my purchase however. Handles any game I have thrown at it on reasonably high settings, however my idea of performance may be lower than that of a more serious gamer. I'm running a dual core Wolfdale E6600 at 3.06 ghz, Win 7 64bit, 8 GB ram and this card makes GTAIV run very smooth on high settings and mid-range vehicle density, draw and detail distance. This is a notoriously power hungry game that my budget system runs very well with this card.

Great value

ThinkCentre Desktop PC M58 (7244A39) Intel Pentium E6600 2GB DDR3 500GB HDD Intel GMA 4500 Windows 7 Home Premium 32-Bit

Pros: Easy (and free) upgrade to Win 7 64 bit Cheap Fast

Cons: Doesn't come with bacon

Overall Review: Bought this on sale for $299, but even at regular price it is an excellent value. Keeps up with my quad-core i7 CAD workstation for typical everyday use. As mentioned by another reviewer, it can be legally upgraded to 64 bit for free with an ISO image from Digital River. Going to toss in 6 gb of RAM (~$40), a Radeon 7750 ($110) and a Crucial M4 128 GB SSD ($160) for the OS and core programs. That is a solid system for $610.
