Excellent product - just what I needed
Pros: Super easy assembly and the 'hanger' mounts make installing the monitors so easy. I have two 24" monitors on the bottom and two 18" monitors on the top. Heavy construction hold the monitors easily.
Cons: Minor issue - not enough vertical adjustment. All 4 monitors are from different manufacturers and have slightly different screen sizes and bezels (+/- .5") so they don't quite match horizontally even after adjustment.
Overall Review: If you have matching monitors, this should be a breeze to install (just make sure you have all of the adjusting screws turned up or down all of the way). Being able to attach the mount then hang the monitor is so much easier than trying to hold the monitor and install the screws.
You get what you pay for
Pros: Looks well designed. Thermal compound seems good.
Cons: Installation pictures are a little difficult to figure out. Figure 1 'Holes' for 1366 matched my 1156 socket. Installing the heat-sink to the mount plate caused the mount plate to pop off the motherboard.
Overall Review: HP Elite 8100 CMT I7-860 LGA 1156 2.9G After being unable to find any information on replacing the stock CPU cooler on the web (seems a lot of info for build-your-own, nothing for off-the-shelf computers) and downloaded utilities showing the I7-860 running at 90C (idle at 55C), I ordered this unit. Primary issue was the lack of thermal compound under the stock cooler. After three attempts to get the mount plate to stay in place, I reinstalled the stock cooler - with the little thermal compound from the new unit left on the CPU, the stock cooler now cools the CPU: load at 50C and idles at 35C. I'll now research thermal compounds and see if that helps.
Nice toy, not really useful
Pros: compact size
Cons: only found 1 site I can use it for
Overall Review: I like the idea of increased security (2FA), but have found very little use/support for the device and HATE SMS texts. Bank doesn't support (which is major issue since it only supports alpha numeric passwords, no special characters), PayPal doesn't support, shopping sites don't support. Haven't figured out how to 'add' gov sites (SSA, Medicare, IRS, FCC, FTC, etc.) to login.gov which I did set up. Not sure how to configure Google AND continue allowing Thunderbird access to Gmail. VERY steep learning curve, but working on it. Seems the 'sites' on yubico work and are easy to set up, but everything else is painful to configure (manually enter password to 'slot' on device).
Works great but fan issue?
Pros: works as designed 3 of 4 HDMI work well (27" Acer, 2x 24" LG), will have to test with 4th monitor.
Cons: issue with fan: AMD software and SpeedFan both allow setting fan to 100%, but AMD software and GpuZ both show fan RPM to be 0.
Overall Review: Not sure if it is a board problem... can set/change fan speed manually through software and temperature changes accordingly, but fan RPM shows 0 at any speed. Overall, this as a replacement for an RX500 2Gb and fixes minor issue with a game having intermittent memory allocation issues. Even at idle with the fan set to 100%, this board runs about 10 degrees warmer (95 vs 85) than previous board.
Pros: Contrary to some reviews, seems to work fine with my webcam (USB2.0). I'll be trying with other devices in the future.
Overall Review: As long as you are aware of the higher impedance, should be able to use with low power/low data rate devices... you might even be able to daisy chain with powered hubs.
Appears as described
Pros: Zippered case and stainless tools.
Cons: None so far, but first day.
Overall Review: Vendor messed up and is making me pay for their mistake. Shopping cart showed Free shipping (5-8 days) so I opted for Expedited shipping (3-5 days) for $7.99. Vendor admitted order was shipped Standard, but would only give me a $2.00 refund. Complained to Newegg Customer Service Chat Team, but they apparently misunderstood and sent a "Subject: Tracking Inquiry" email to vendor and bowed out...
