Very Nice Card + Game

Pros: Card comes very well packaged--heavy foam protecting it inside its box. Incredible performance with modern games, yet the Crysis demo is too much for it @1920x1200. Includes CoH! Haven't played it yet though. Using beta drivers for both my Vista x64 and XP (32bit) installations, versions 169.04 for both (although they are very different drivers and named accordingly), results in stable performance on both platforms and in all games that I have tested this evening: HL2+ its expansions Bioshock F.E.A.R. Portal DoD: Source The fan in almost dead-silent. Major points for that alone. Simple PCIe x16 installation with a standard 6-pin power connector. Very fast processing and shipping thanks to newegg and the happy FedEx guy.
Cons: Price was steep but that's the early-adopter's choice. Still not enough to run Crysis at very high settings and resolutions (can't blame the card though).
Overall Review: Over double the performance of my 7900GT KO for a ~reasonable price. I can finally game in Vista x64 now that I don't have to deal with the broken nvidia driver issues re: factory overclocked 7900GT cards. A good card, only mildy overclocked and a good bundle. Overall an excellent purchase and experience with newegg.
Response To GSkill

Pros: Customer service.
Cons: Newegg.com is losing me as a customer over this purchase.
Overall Review: In response to the manufacturer's response: GA-965P-DQ6 Bios: F10 and F13a both see and read the memory, Vista x64 reads it fine though is of course unstable as a result of the faulty DIMMs... SPD and manual timings to specified ratings both fail, fail very quickly at the stated VDIMM of 1.9v, the RMAd RAM fails at just over 3.15 hours @2.1v. Both batches failed in different slots, repeated testing of load order, etc. Faulty product. Plain and simple. Will be contacting the number provided by newegg to seek a refund as they have just lost an 8+ year customer over this purchase and their failure to refund on a faulty product. Shame, really, seeing as how up until now, or rather before newegg ruined their contract with FedEx, they were the best place to shop online. I'll be looking elsewhere from now on. To the GSkill CSR, thank you for following up on the case and I look forward to receiving a refund for this faulty product.
No go on Intel 965 Chipsets, Seeking Refund

Pros: It comes in a shiny box
Cons: Initial shipment failed memtest @7minutes. RMAd to GSkill (see my first review below). Replacement RAM fails memtest @3:16minutes. FAIL even at 2.1 VDIMM
Overall Review: Waiting on Newegg to refund this terrible purchase. QA? Not. Excellent customer service from GSKILL on the initial RMA, terrible, absolutely worthless product despite this. AVOID PRODUCT
Unstable, Waiting on RMA from GSkill

Pros: 8Gb for a good price
Cons: It doesn't run at its advertised specs at stock speed, timings and voltage range. Upping V-DIMM results in no improvements...
Overall Review: Memtest86 v3.4 fails repeatedly during test 7 of the first pass producing in excess of 7,000 errors. I am presently waiting on the RMA from Gskill since I waited too long to RMA through newegg. Hopefully the replacement DIMMs work as advertised! Buyer beware
Easy no-signal fix

Pros: Incredible clarity, color reproduction and response time. Nice design. Huge realestate for both work and play.
Cons: Too bright out of the box, worthless speakers included, no- signal problem after two months use... see below.
Overall Review: I had the no-signal problem start appearing about two months into everyday use of this monitor. It boggled the *&^% out of me at first. The solution is to unplug the monitor (power and video) for at least one minute and the circuitry resets itself. I haven't had it no-signal since doing that and I'm into the fourth month of usage now. Overall an excellent purchase including the no-signal bug- I got lucky with 0 dead pixels too :)
