No Problems
Pros: Easy Configuration for the novice, detailed configuration for the expert, port forwarding configurations are a snap. As for WiFi this router seems better than my Netgear WGR614 (which is 4 years old) I still use this Netgear router it's attached to the Buffalo as a 2nd wireless network for a neighbor of mine that uses a laptop, shes 82 years old I have a CCTV system and no problems with my android or laptop connecting to the system via the port configuration
Cons: So far, None
Overall Review: I bought this router to replace my NETGEAR WNR2000 which died after 6 months
Not Bad
Pros: Easy Install, Camera Quality Better than expected, Love the App for Android you can easily scroll through recorded video and playback with the App (very nice) I got this system on sale at $40 off the $199
Cons: none so far
Overall Review: It took me 30 minutes to install this system, I got a 1TB NAS HDD, I have had no issues with this system at all. I plan on buying more of these as I need them
Does It's Job at a Great Price
Pros: Does exactly whats it states, great price and if it breaks you get what you pay for, + Free Shipping I have tested all lengths of cable up to 150ft in length, worked great Also tests phone cable (RJ-11)
Cons: None so far
Overall Review: works off a single 9v battery, the other unit gets its power through the attached cat5 or phone cable
Le Pan 970 The Good, The Bad
Pros: Nice price, Newegg had this unit for $179.00 plus a $50.00 newegg gift card, but 2 days later Newegg had this same LePan 970 for $10.00's less, I called Newegg and they issued me a credit for the $10.00...very nice The LePan 970 to me is well worth the price, great display fast graphics for some games I play, good speakers, is this machine going to run ICS, No but I didn't purchase this for that, I added a 16 Gig SD card, lasts many hours on battery and I was very happy with this unit for 2 weeks.......
Cons: 2 weeks into using this I was charging the unit overnight and the next day I push the power switch and wake this unit up, well that didn't happen so I pulled the charging cable and reconnected and the unit woke up so I pushed the power button and nothing happened, tried many times researched this issue and noticed its a common problem, so I was still in my 30 day replacement warranty with Newegg and filled out all the paperwork and Newegg paid for the shipment back to their location and I am waiting for the new unit to be shipped back to me.
Overall Review: Newegg handled this matter as I expected, perfectly! This is why I am a Newegg customer.
