ASUS-rock solid heat touching.
Pros: Had this for over a year and have had no problems yet. Works great, has all the new features that you would want, including a usb 3.0 plugin on the mobo for usb 3.0 cases, which was pretty much why I bought this. you get all the extras for a great price.
Cons: USB ports fail occasionally... not sure why exactly, doesn't happen often enough for really look into it, and it resets within seconds. but sometimes still can be inconvenient when downloading cause I have to get my internet through a usb dongle.
Liked the first one a bit more
Pros: Its inexpensive. it works. looks pretty cool. I love back and forth buttons on the side. whenever i have a different mouse and am surfing the web, i always press where the previous page button is and get mad that that mouse doesn't have it.
Cons: I bought the first version of this mouse a while ago and still use it as my man mouse. this one just seems like it has no improvement other than it looks a little better. Also I am not a fan of the mouse wheel.
Overall Review: doesn't get much wear and tear cause I rarely use it, but if its anything like the first one, it will probably last you a while.
Works, for cheap too
Pros: had it for probably 3 months now, no problems what so ever. Looks great in my case, the bezel even matched. I ended up even having to hook up my cpu cooler too it and it handled it probably as good as my mobo did. Really like that it has molex and 3-pin on ALL the fan plugs. and the temperature gauges work great and haven't melted yet, and i even have one placed on the backside of where the gpu chip is. made my very loud system (especially because of the molex fans i had) into a practically silent machine. but when gaming it would bump it right up for me and keep everything nice and cool. for the price tag this thing is just fantastic.
Cons: I guess there can be problems with fans above 12v, but since I have none i wouldn't really know. But to be safe i would unplug all other fans before trying out each fan, because i guess it can possibly break other fans in the circuit. and if this is the case there really should be a warning or a label somewhere in the description. Probably because of the fact that it uses only one molex plug and they go only up to 12v. ether way, worked great for me.
Worked Great
Pros: used it for an old power supply for a new machine. Did the trick just fine with no issues.
Cons: None
WD
Pros: Cant typically go wrong with a WD, they usually in my experience have great lifetimes.
Cons: None yet, but time will tell for hard drives always seem to work great in the beginning...
Overall Review: 1tb isn't a whole lot more, but if you won't even use the 500gb then your probably fine with the extra 10 bucks.
Good for what it is
Pros: Haven't had it for long but did its job so far.
Cons: dont mess with the BIOS if you can avoid it, from what I've heard it could mess things up, and its because of some of the reviews I've read that I avoided it as well. BIOS is a pretty basic thing that should really be working fine.
Overall Review: Really for a basic build, if you are excepting it to go above and beyond prepare to throw down the extra dollars for something nicer. but when you are on a serious budget it does the trick for sure. also i had no problem with 1333 ram like some people are saying.
