Good buy

Pros: - Performs well. - Touch works well in Windows 7. - Adds a nice flourish to software demos.
Cons: - Glass screen has fairly high glare. - 1 dead pixel. - Stand is two plastic pieces that come apart and make it a little unstable.
Meh

Pros: Good battery life, self-serviceable, pretty nice display.
Cons: The track pad is pretty bad. At times the cursor will jump all over the screen. It seems like a build up of static. The feel of the trackpad is also pretty bad. The feel of the keyboard is so-so. Overall construction seems adequate, but not robust.
Overall Review: Chose this one for high resolution and because it was easy to swap memory and hard drive (put in SSD). Everything works well enough except the track pad which is beyond bad and has to be disabled to make the machine usable.
happy with Crucial

Pros: installed on a Lenovo T15p gen 3 plenty of breathing room now for a decent development laptop
Cons: just beware, my laptop took about a minute to "learn" to use the new sticks, resulting in some confusion on my part. the behavior was as follows: 1. installed memory 2. turned on machine 3. Escape key, F2, F3 blinked in sequence 4. don't panic. this is the training process. just grab a coffee 5. boots i had assumed there was a problem after the first time i got to #3 above, so I contacted Crucial support (online chat). the help desk agent told me that some DDR5 machines take a while to "train" to the new memory. just try again and give it a minute. she was right. kudos to Crucial for having agents available that know what they're doing
Overall Review: i'm not into benchmarks, overclocking, etc., so look elsewhere for those types of reviews. i am into companies that are responsive to questions and help you resolve problems. i'd buy Crucial again because they are aces on both.
Intel Server Build

Pros: Went with all Intel components, including chassis, mb, and psu. Everything fits and works well together.
Cons: Didn't come with a power cord.
Overall Review: As with anything, the proof will probably be 5 years down the road. Also used in this build: Intel S5520HCR Server Motherboard Intel Server Chassis SC5650BRP
