Good value for large capacity

Pros: Least expensive 4tb nvme ssd good performance compared to same cost 4tb SATA ssd No problems with overheating using a heatsink
Cons: Random read/write speeds are disappointing. Not getting the rated speeds. Probably shouldn't use this without a heatsink
Overall Review: Bought the 4tb version when it went on sale for 399. This is the first nvme drive I have owned. I wanted a large capacity drive with better performance than SATA and so far it has been very good. Installed in an Asus z390 strix-E using the heatsink that came with the board and I don't have any heat issues. The drive stays between 30-40 degrees. Did a fresh windows install in UEFI mode that defaults to a GPT partition and had no issues. Drive has only been up and running for 2 weeks so I can't comment on durability/reliability just yet, but a 5 year warranty is decent. UPDATE: ADATA does not provide a nvme driver, windows 10 will use a built in one. You can get better performance by using the samsung nvme driver. Win-Raid.com forum has a how to and links. Second picture is a benchmark using samsung driver. UPDATE 2: There is a firmware update version VB421D57 on ADATA's support site. Installed without an issue. Drive has been running great for 5 months now. 50% full.
good value

Pros: can run 3200 14-16-16-35-1T and 3600 16-18-18-38-2T with my 8700k/z370
Overall Review: Ram prices still dropping as of 11/19
