Outstanding Case

Pros: Beautifully built and well engineered case. The fit and finish are like a BMW. The installation of my system in it was fairly easy and satisfying. Silverstone has incorporated many helpful features to make building a PC a pleasant and rewarding experience.
Cons: This case has provision for five fans. Silverstone provides two fans. For the price of the case and the type of system likely to be built in it, Silverstone should provide three additional fans.

Don't even THINK about buying this reader!

Pros: Didn't work long enough to find out.
Cons: Caused major failure of computer system.
Overall Review: I bought this card reader to replace an Atech XM-28U which failed after about a year-and-a-half. I was looking for a reader that would read some of the newer flash formats, and this one seemed to fit the need. My headaches began on the first boot after installation, when my machine hung at the Windows (XP Pro, SP3) "welcome page - loading personal preferences." This is a well-recognized problem with some USB devices. I tried Ctl-Alt-Del without seccess. Then I tried to boot from the XP Pro installation disc into repair mode. Still no luck. Finally, I reloaded XP Pro and got the machine up and running, but in the process, I lost many of my programs and some of my files. I have spent at least 20 hours restoring my computer as close to its pre-Atech Pro-55U state as possible. However, it will be literally months before I have replaced all of the lost information. Buy this product only if you want an unmitigated migraine headache.
Nice video card, but no bridge

Pros: Terrific card with my Dell 2408 monitor. Worked flawlessly out of the box in my new build. Would like to do CrossfireX configuration, but can't (see Cons)
Cons: Box says that bridge is included, but it is not. Contacted VisonTek and was told that they would send one -- but it has not arrived!
Overall Review: Should be awesome in CrossfireX.
Neat Device

Pros: Works with all of the memory I have thrown at it. Nice to have it installed in my case rather than as an add-on as my previous flash card reader was. Also nice to have an additional USB port on the front of my case.
Cons: None
Overall Review: A very worthwhile addition if you do a lot of photographic editing.
Fast! Fast! Fast!

Pros: Impressive speed without over-clocking. Easy installation. Worked flawlessly.
Cons: None
Overall Review: Have chosen not to over-clock this CPU because it is so fast right out of the box -- and besides, I don't want to void my warranty on such an expensive item!
Good OS

Pros: Easy install. A very stable and adaptable OS. Has done everything I have asked it to do.
Cons: Microsoft!
Overall Review: Wanted this rather than Vista. Have used XP since it was first released, and have never had a significant problem. May replace this when the OS following Vista is released.
