Sweet card with no sweat

ASUS GeForce 9500 GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card EN9500GT/DI/512MD3/A
ASUS GeForce 9500 GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card EN9500GT/DI/512MD3/A

Pros: This is awesome. For a small price, you get this card which blew the GPU out of my 8800gt 512 and my 9600gt 1gb. i was shocked and pleased with the performance and heat dissipation... (SEE OTHER THOUGHTS)

Cons: Takes up two PCI slots. But other than that... nothing.

Overall Review: When you get these for an SLI system, make sure that your MB has room between the two cards. I at first used them in a NF4SLI7AA-8krs2 MB and the top cooler blew right on to the backside of the other. the spacing was 1 1/2" from PCI-E to PCI-E, leaving no room for a pci slot cooler. However, they worked out fine on my Asus Alienware MB that had 3 1/3"

Most Critical Review

one weak card for a huge chunk of change.

ZOTAC GeForce 9600 GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card ZT-96TES3G-FSL
ZOTAC GeForce 9600 GT 512MB GDDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 SLI Support Video Card ZT-96TES3G-FSL

Pros: it looks really cool, and doesn't need any extra power like the six and eight pin setups.

Cons: Well, where do i start? zotac wasnt very helpful when i asked about why the card runs so hot 67c! he said i needed more fans in my case. I happen to have five and a water cooling system to boot, so this wasn't any help. after i asked for another solution, he said nothing. If you want my advice, get the SLI 9400gt's, they run faster and are much cheaper than this thing.

Overall Review: For an sli card like this, i recommend that you get a good case before you buy these, the Rosewell case i have has a 80mm fan over the pci-e x16 slots for SLI cooling. So does the Smilodon cases sold on Newegg for a very reasonable amount.

Not bad

EVERCOOL FAN-EC3007M12CA 30mm Case Cooling Fan
EVERCOOL FAN-EC3007M12CA 30mm Case Cooling Fan

Pros: Good, fast little fan.

Cons: the mounting holes for this could have been bigger, and the screws larger, a little noisy.

Overall Review: Works good on my northbridge. Before- 144. f After-89. f A good add-on to the Zalman heatsinks. This testing was on a P5ND2-SLI Deluxe Alienware MB with the N-Force4 north bridge. Im sure that results will very. the northbridge on this MB was about a half inch from the edge of the CPU cooler @ 3.0GHZ Pentium D /w/ MASSCOOL 8WA741 92mm Ball CPU Cooler.

Fast and silent

LOGISYS Computer CF120BL 120mm BLUE 4 LED LED Case Fan
LOGISYS Computer CF120BL 120mm BLUE 4 LED LED Case Fan

Pros: Fast and affordable, the dodge viper of all 120mm fans, no lie. Its also silent for all you sensitive geeks out there, so don't worry.

Cons: None so far

Overall Review: Works well with the fan controller i have though the rpm range is like 1800 - 2000, not very fast, but for the size, it can really move some air. Its from logysis, need i say more. This will be alive long after you aren't, not sure about the LED's in it though...

snug as a bug in an Ailienware motherboard

MASSCOOL 8WA741 92mm Ball CPU Cooler
MASSCOOL 8WA741 92mm Ball CPU Cooler

Pros: A very good, budget CPU cooler. does its job with precision and little hassle short of the whol MB removal and such.

Cons: Its big, really big, you have no idea how vastly, mind boggling big it is. IF you have a simoldon extreme black case, THEN DON'T get this as the fold out tray wont close after installation. And also it requires that you remove the motherboard, but considering its weight, not really a surprise. Also, watch the north bridge location as this will, on the rare occasion hit the cooler there like mine almost did.

Overall Review: I gave it 4 out of 5 for its size and noise. though, i had a hard time giving it a lower than 5/5 rating. It works well on my P5ND2 Asuse alienware MB with dual core Pentium @3.06GHZ. Would work better with an exhaust fan on the back of the case to expel heat better, so make sure you have one, or at least can get one, and i don't mean a little sissy 80mm, get a 120mm at least. and the other reviews must have had a pretty thin MB for this thing to be "loose" mine was snug as a bullet in a barrel. by the way idle @37c and full @45c. Cool running's huh.

A little big

ZALMAN ZM-NB47J Aluminum Heatsinks only
ZALMAN ZM-NB47J Aluminum Heatsinks only

Pros: Amazing little gizmo. impressed with the installation. all in all, good buy.

Cons: its pretty big and doesn't have a fan on it, but i bought a 20mm and fastened it in between the fins. Works good now.

Overall Review: those of you who have limited MB space should consider something shorter. It had some trouble fitting beside the CPU cooler and SLI cards. But with a little patience and know how, it'll work on anything... almost.
