A really beautiful case with QA errors...

Fractal Design Define R6 USB-C White Brushed Aluminum/Steel ATX Silent Modular Tempered Glass Window Mid Tower Computer Case
Fractal Design Define R6 USB-C White Brushed Aluminum/Steel ATX Silent Modular Tempered Glass Window Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: -In White -Very modular -Ample space for cable management -Supports up to 480 rad -Ceiling mount is removable so you can put the rad in easily -Has optical drive space -Lots of HDD/SSD mounts -Included fan hub in the back side panel

Cons: -Quality assurance seem to have skipped flaws like minute scratches on the case( These are small black lines that personally bother me right now since it' all white, but I am putting a wrap over it anyways so it won't bother me soon enough) -Again with QA the spray seems shoddy at some parts, well for my case, there were bits of the dust filter stuck beneath coating of paint on different areas of the case. I found one on the power supply shroud and on the back side of the mobo mount and bad to peel them off. -Power button when it lights up make it look really cheap. Honestly think an aluminium button would have been better or maybe a thinker plastic since the light shines through it. -Like the other review had stated, some screws were "torqued" into oblivion that it was really difficult to un-tighten the screws even with a screw driver. -On my case, the glass side panel's bottom clip mount holds on to the panel really tight that it was difficult to unmount it. Had to use about three times the force compared to the top part of the glass panel.

Overall Review: Overall I love this case so much that it hurts to dock it down an egg. There were flaws as I stated, but the case as a whole is unaffected by it. My nit-picky customer self wants to be transparent and state this so hopefully Fractal Design can improve on these. Would I recommend this case? Of course, yes. If you are looking to watercool or if you want a case that can hold multiple drives without sacrificing aesthetics, get this case. Also, please Fractal, if you can improve on the coating of the white case since it seems to chip rather easily compared to the R4 and R5 that I have, please do; maybe seems to be also formulation of the powder coat since the two cases I have does not chip that easily. Also props to Fractal as they had shipped a case that wasn't broken compared to Corsair when I ordered a 400C, which had one of the front panel mounting clips broken and they did not do anything for my case since it was deemed a user error, but it wasn't since I unboxed it and the piece wasn't even inside or was it nowhere to be found. Anyways, slickwraps also has this case available for customization on their site, so if you are irked by the miniscule flaws like I was, cover it up.

It looks good, just not a complete collection.

Gaming PC Ryzen 7 9800X3D 32GB RAM 2TB SSD RTX 5080 16GB Win11 Computer

Pros: - Clean build upfront - Easy to setup - Plug and play pretty much - RGB goodness - Premium parts

Cons: - Some wiring decisions in the back end - Not a complete Miku collection, the cooler and PSU isn't the ROGxMiku one - Not a con for me, but it came in separated with the GPU and I find that to be a problem if I were a newbie at computers ( I used to be an SI ) - As a collector it pains me to see the original boxes damaged

Overall Review: This system has been a really good one to me and currently doing dual boot with Win 10 alongside the Win 11 installed. It runs way faster on 11 than on 10 I can tell you that and some features are disabled if you are running 10 on this machine. Internet speed test on 11 is around 4x faster than when you run on 10. Wifi and Bluetooth is disabled if you run 10 of course as it uses the new hardware available for 11 only. Gaming, 3D modeling, and multitasking is a breeze for this machine and I love it. Sucks that I have to buy the PSU and the watercooler to complete the set, but I can accept that since I like to get my hands on thing I buy to customize it and make it fully mine. Overall an amazing PC that can blast through anything I throw at it and with this being my first RTX card I love it and it's a good thing I held on to upgrading my 2016 rig for this.
