Pros: Does everything it's supposed to do, without any hassle. Running a Pentium G620, 8gb memory, SSD, and Radeon HD 7770 on a gigabit network without any troubles. Excellent rebate experience, see Other Thoughts.
Cons: The price was too cheap, I thought it was too good to be true and the hardware would be junk, so I played it safe and only got one. Now I wish I had bought more of these while they were on sale. Not really a con for those who did proper research before buying, but the SATA ports are a little close to the vid card slot. A card with a large HSF will cover two of them. Fine for my purposes, just a little thing for builders to watch out for.
Overall Review: I was away from home and had a family member send the rebate for me. He neglected to include the Proof-of-Purchase. Instead of rejecting the rebate, ECS replied saying that I could send the UPC and they'd honor the rebate. I just received my check today. These rebate companies usually look for any technicality to deny payment, but ECS went above and beyond to honor their offer. I'll gladly buy ECS in the future with confidence.
Good PSU, fast rebate
Pros: PSU does exactly what it's supposed to do. No surprises, I haven't experienced the strange noise that others report. Very efficient, pulls 20w less from the wall than my Cooler Master 460 PSU (non-PFC), which costed the same. Overall, very pleased with this purchase. Wish I had gotten another one of these instead of the 460. Best yet, the rebate is one of the fastest I've ever received. Sent out the paperwork on 8/21, received my rebate on 9/15. By comparison, my Cooler Master rebate was sent out on 7/26 and I'm still waiting. Will definitely buy Corsair again.
Doesn't stand by their product descriptions.
I bought an M350 case from MITXPC. At the time of my purchase, this case had several pictures showing it with brackets for two internal hard drives, and it was described in the details as supporting two (I have screenshots of the page). When I received the product, it only had one hard drive bracket. I was on a deadline and needed to get a system out to a customer. I contacted MITXPC about the problem. I didn't hear anything about it until a full week later, when I received an RMA to return the case for a refund, and they changed the product listing to remove indications of supporting two drives. That's not what I needed, and doesn't help my situation at all. Not even an apology. MITXPC's mistake put me in a bind, and they didn't step up to resolve it. Do not trust them.
