Pros: Im using a gaming laptop with a quad core i7 cpu and temps were 98C stock from the factory, Intel allows upto 105C which is insane imo. I did every trick in the book by adding several fans under the laptop and even removing a few vent slots along with a good tear down for cleaning and removing the stock paste and adding Rosewill Pro90. I gained a big 6C drop for all those efforts, But it slowly rose back up to 96C after a few weeks. Not one to give up i did some research in the reviews on the Egg and found this stuff. My max CPU temp is now 81C! A 15-17C drop in temps with just a compound change blew me away. Ive been doing computer hardware for 12 years now and never had temp drops so drastic even using the best compounds on the market at those times. I dont know if they changed the formula a bit, Bit i found it to be just the right consistency to allow even spreading and adhesion. It was nothing like the thick Shin-Etsu clay style compounds ive used before, It was like AS-5.

Cons: Price, But for what i lost in temps id have gladly paid twice as much.

Overall Review: If there is better thermal compound out there, Id like to try it. But i wouldn't remove this stuff off my cpu to do it, Id test it on something else as this compound in nothing short of amazing. Not everyone may see the big difference i did since my cpu was on fire, My idle temps only went down about 3-4C so if your computer doesn't vary much from idle to full load you will see less results as thats just physics. But the higher the difference between idle and load temps the more drops you will see in temps. I dont write many reviews, But this one i just had too so hopefully it will amaze others like it did me. NewEgg was great as ever, Ive been a long time customer for over 10 years now and there is a very good reason for that. Price and service with selection. And they do listen and care about customers.

Pros: fast reads and decent writes,and a nice low price compared to others. intel controller really? if mine wasnt going back to newegg for an rma id crack that puppy open and find out.wouldnt be my first warrenty ive voided.

Cons: worked 2 days and started corrupting,and then died on 4th day. stuff happens and i know it,so im not blaming the company or design just yet.ill get a replacement once my rma is done and try again.

Overall Review: one thing i did learn in all this is to just clone your disk onto the SSD,dont install the OS from scratch. they do fine with light to moderate writes,but hard pounding on the writes take it to a crawl. i didnt notice any stuttering or small lockups as much as i saw just slow activity during the install. if you dont have to have the best and fastest,stick with a 7200 drive.

Pros: Its powered and it works great with no glitching on and off if bumped around.

Cons: The only con i can think of is i can find 8 stupid things to plug into this giant 7 port hub! Physically its not giant, But rather compact. But 7 ports is alot. IS that even a con?

Overall Review: Seriously $12 shipped to my door and it works excellent! Newegg still getting the job done and at prices that i many times feel like im stealing from them.

Pros: Its the least expensive USB 3 enclosure here in the egg, But it does what it says and does it very fast and well. Its aluminum and over sized. So i used packing taped on the bottom of the drive to stop any shorts and many layers of folded aluminum foil on the top to help spread any heat. I get the exact same speeds on my SATA II hhd's in this enclosure as i do with them inside my laptop. 105/105mps write and read testing on ATTO. Theoretically an older 300/300mps SSD would work perfect in this enclosure and not loose any speed. New 6GBS SSD's will need to use an enclosure with SATA III internals to keep your 550/600mbs speeds as it will saturate this enclosures controller. But not the USB 3's buss.

Cons: Wont work on my Commadore 64. Naugasourus hide pouch is to small to wear as a hat.

Overall Review: Use the free 2 or 3 day UPS and not the EggSaver shipping, Much faster. Lots of room inside so be prepared to add foil to dissipate heat if you know how to use it and not short the drive out. If you dont just tape 1 layer of bubble wrap under the drive and push it in to where its tight against the top so the metal case can absorb heat from the drive and not let it bang around loose inside. Full sized USB cable on both ends is better than sliced bread. I was willing to spend $30 on a decent enclosure, But kept coming back to this one due to the reviews being so positive. Im glad i saved the dough and got exactly what i needed. BTW if the screws are to much for your salami sized fingers put a small rare earth magnet on your screw driver and if you loose a screw then you should go back and repeat the 3rd grade again.

Pros: actually fast on quikbench benchmark with 29mb/s read and 72mb/s write,it actually has faster writes than my WD scorpio black thats my main drive. iirc atto was 29mb/s read and 27mb/s writes. doesnt stick out like a usb drive.

Cons: none for me,but not everyone is getting results i am.

Overall Review: is much better than a usb drive by being stowed and not sticking out so my cat cant chew on it. i use windows 7 64 bit and all 8gb can be used for readyboost. definetly a good purchase on my end. this is on HP dv6626 laptop

Pros: its cheap and has a lifetime warrenty.i ordered 2x1gb sticks and not a single issue. installed in dell i6000 with no problems.

Cons: none.
