Pros: I liked this router when it was working....it WAS FANTASTIC when it worked

Cons: The main issue with this router is simply that the 5Ghz channel would disappear without any reason. I contacted Asus, they suggested I change some settings, but that did not help much at all. The same thing happened. I tried the latest version of the stock firmware, I tried Merlin's firmware, I tried everything I could thing of.....after a certain amount of time (that differed), the 5Ghz channel would just be gone. The ONLY way to get it back was to either push the WIFI hardware button on the front of the router so it would turn off and then on, OR to flash the firmware/restore to original settings and reconfigure.

Overall Review: If this router would work consistently, I would have kept it and loved it.....going back to my Asus 66U for the time being until I can figure out what other router I should spend money on that will ensure no band dropping!
