Great board!
Pros: -All of my hardware is working well with this board -Temps on the board are very cool -Very sturdy. This thing is built like a tank!
Cons: -Bluetooth will not work with any of my BT devices. -Gigaybyte RGB Fusion software crashes my PC
Overall Review: Very nice board, overall. Lots of features that I haven't had time to play around with.
Lasted about 2 years before failing.
Pros: Fast RAM. Nice RGBs.
Cons: One or two of the four sticks have failed. The symptom was games would lock up with strange inverted colors on my monitors, and then the PC would restart itself. This started happening about every hour. Now it's happening every 15 to 20 minutes. I swapped it out for some G.Skill and haven't had any lockups or restarts. I still gave it 3 stars for lasting 2 years. These sticks also failed MemTest86 even with two sticks installed. Tested with an RTX3080 FTW and an RTX2080 to eliminate the GPU as the culprit.
Overall Review: Overall, I think it's hit or miss with PC components. I've had motherboards, RAM, GPUs, that all have either lasted the life of the PC or have arrived DOA. I don't blame Corsair. It's just something that happens.
Easy to install and VERY fast!
Pros: Extremely fast load times for games and apps.
Cons: No cons so far.
Overall Review: No blue screens and no data corruption. Very fast load times for apps and games.
Wattage and junction temps too high
Pros: It kind of runs one game: Borderlands 3
Cons: -Won't run New World MMO without crashing - May be a coding issue -Wattage is peaking at 350 to 380. -Junction temps are maxing out over 100 C -I had to lower the voltage to 60% to play Borderlands 3 without crashing -There's something funky going on with these 30 series cards and their power handling, but I cannot figure it out. -Gigabyte's RGB Fusion blue screened my PC until I uninstalled it.
Overall Review: I would hold off on purchasing a 30 series card for now, or at least until this whole chip shortage is over with. I am thinking that quality control is overwhelmed with the demand for GPUs at the moment. Side note. I have removed the 3080 and am now running my RTX 2060 with zero issues.
Very satisfied!
-My Gigabyte Aorus RTX 3080 Master took a while to arrive, but it was coming all the way from China, so no complaints. -No damage to my card or packaging -Would definitely recommend!
