Great MB, but read the SPECS!!!
Pros: Great motherboard, fast easy to configure. Everything fits great and all the manuals are very helpful. Good mb for dual xeon proc's.
Cons: None, could use an onboard 1394 connection for front pannel.
Overall Review: Make sure to read the specs and go to tyan.com to read what RAM can be used with this board. It's VERY specific! Fully Buffered DIMM's ONLY!
Apple Mac Owners stay away!
Pros: Fast when it worked.
Cons: I've owned this drive for the last few months and this is the biggest waste of money. You will loose your data and you will not be able to recover from this drive. Do yourself a favor and just buy another brand drive, I cannot believe that this firmware 'bug' can cause so much damage. If you have a Mac, you CANNOT update the firmware using the Intel Update Tool. I've spent countless hours trying to boot from other computers to update this drive and it complains about S.M.A.R.T compatibility or not being in IDE compatibility mode. Both of which are enabled, yet this drive just does not want to be repaired.
Overall Review: This is the last Intel drive I will ever buy, and I suggest that you do the same.
Great way to share TV Signal
Pros: Share broadcast TV with Computer (Mac and Ubuntu Media Box) Easy to use and setup Clear picture
Cons: A little expensive for OTA broadcasts and you still need an antenna to take full advantage of this solution.
Great camera, a little flimsy though
Pros: Great upgrade from the S90 Plenty of great features (slow motion, tilt shift video / pictures) Excellent low light photography Large LCD
Cons: Pricey LCD broke with very little stress GPS is a battery hog
Overall Review: I'm a huge fan of Canon photography and I wanted to like this camera, but ultimately I kept my S90 and returned this defective camera. It was a great deal ($350 at the time) and I was able to take some great pictures with it. Overall though, it was a bit pricey to upgrade from the S90 to this one. Plus, the LCD broke less than a weeks worth of use; my S90 is going on two years and still working great. If you don't already own a great point-and-shoot camera, then I would highly recommend this one. However, make sure you don't put a lot of stress on this large LCD.
Good and fast drive
Pros: I purchased this drive for housing all my Virtual Machines. So far it's been great. It's fast and relatively quiet. So far, knock on wood, it's been pretty stable too. I've placed it in my MacPro without any incident.
Cons: None.
Great RAM, great price..
Pros: I bought this RAM for my Mac Pro and it works flawlessly. Simple instructions to plug the new RAM in and I'm off to the races. Just make sure that when you install your RAM, that you read the instructions on how to properly install it on both memory boards.
Cons: None.
