Everything worked out of box except the Ethernet Port

Wavlink USB C Docking Station, 100W PD Charging Triple 4K Display Type-C Adapter with HDMI, 2 Display Ports, Ethernet Port, Micro SD and SD Card Reader, Audio, 4 USB 3.0 &1 USB-C port for Windows/Mac
Wavlink USB C Docking Station, 100W PD Charging Triple 4K Display Type-C Adapter with HDMI, 2 Display Ports, Ethernet Port, Micro SD and SD Card Reader, Audio, 4 USB 3.0 &1 USB-C port for Windows/Mac

Pros: Half the price of the Dell Docking Stations. Minus 1 star for driver issues. Setup dual monitors extended, one 1920x1080 and the other at 4K, USB ports also worked fine on my new Dell Latitude 5420 running Win 10 Pro.

Cons: I eventually got the Ethernet to work. but when I first plugged it in the Ethernet worked, then after a few minutes it stopped working. What happened was Microsoft updates upgraded the driver to a Realtek driver dated 8/18/2021. I also tried installing the driver off of the Wavlink site, another Realtek driver dated 6/21/2021 which also didn't work.

Overall Review: From device manager - network adapters - Right click on Realtek USB GbE Family Controller - properties - driver tab, I was able to "roll back" the driver to a Microsoft v10.5.920.2015 9-20-2015 which works great. The Microsoft driver file is actually C:\windows\system32\Drivers\rtux64w10.sys

Most Critical Review

Lackluster Performance

Pioneer USB-C 120GB portable SSD External SSD super small ultra slim(APS-XS02-120)
Pioneer USB-C 120GB portable SSD External SSD super small ultra slim(APS-XS02-120)

Pros: The read speed isn't too bad. With large files (what I bought it for) I get around 160MB/s plugged into a USB 3.0. Plugged into USB 3.1 a little better at 180MB/s

Cons: The write speed is lousy. It tops out at 40MB/s with USB 3.0. USB 3.1 around 50MB/s. I have regular flash drives that do that.

Overall Review: I have a 128GB Visiontek SSD USB 3.0 stick that runs circles around this SSD. It would be nice if it had a male USB 3.1 interface instead of female. I could then plug it directly into my USB 3.1 port.

OK at best

Company Of Heroes PC Game
Company Of Heroes PC Game

Pros: Easy to install.

Cons: Read the reviews and didn't realize this game is from 2006. Graphics are ok, the panning is too sensitive and I didn't see ability to adjust in settings. Couldn't adjust to 4K for my monitor but again back in 2006 4K wasn't really available.

Overall Review: Spend a few more bucks and get a real game.

Cannot Create M.2 RAID

MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK AM4 AMD B550 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
MSI MAG B550 TOMAHAWK AM4 AMD B550 USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard

Pros: Nice board if you're not looking to RAID your two M.2 SSDs. My main goal with this system was to RAID 0 the two M.2

Cons: The description says it supports RAID 0/1/10 using the RAIDXpert2 Utility but not for M.2 SSDs, probably only SATA drives. The Utility see the drives but won't Enable my two M.2 Samsung WD-Black SN750 and the 'Create Array' is greyed out. Try to initialize and I get "There are no disks that can be converted to RAID disks"

Overall Review: Bummer!

Disappointed

Samsung 256GB DUO Plus USB 3.1 Flash Drive, Speed Up to 300MB/s (MUF-256DB/AM)
Samsung 256GB DUO Plus USB 3.1 Flash Drive, Speed Up to 300MB/s (MUF-256DB/AM)

Pros: Can plug into both USB 3.1 or USB 3.0

Cons: Reads at about 260MB/s on USB 3.1 (only) for the first 4-5GB then drops down to around 80MB/s the rest of the 20GB file. Writes are horrible at around 25 to 40MB/s, doesn't matter USB 3.0 or 3.1.

Overall Review: Due to my larger that 2GB files I had to try to format with NFTS and exFat. Both with disappointing results. If you're using USB 3.0 it would be nice to be able to put the USB 3.1 cap on the other end so you don't lose it.

Works great with Windows 10

3.5in USB 3.0 Hub Metal Front Panel FDD Expansion Bay + PCI-e Express USB 3.0 Adapter Card NEC Chipset Hi Speed 5Gbps
3.5in USB 3.0 Hub Metal Front Panel FDD Expansion Bay + PCI-e Express USB 3.0 Adapter Card NEC Chipset Hi Speed 5Gbps

Pros: Exactly what I needed. I'm getting transfer rates of 200MB/s Plus, versus about 30MB/s before. Works without installing drivers, Windows 10 recognized it.

Cons: None

Overall Review: Will purchase again.
