Works with older board and Linux Ubuntu

CHAINTECH GeForce FX 5200 128MB DDR AGP 4X/8X Low Profile Graphics Card LA-FX20-H
CHAINTECH GeForce FX 5200 128MB DDR AGP 4X/8X Low Profile Graphics Card LA-FX20-H

Pros: Tried to convert an old system to Mythbuntu and the ATI card would not work. Put this NVidia card in the system, and Mythbunutu recongnized it and installed the necessary drivers. Just what I needed.

Cons: none

Most Critical Review

Does not work with ASUS P5K SE LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard

Transcend 2GB DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory Model JM800QLU-2G
Transcend 2GB DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory Model JM800QLU-2G

Pros: Cheap, would post with ASUS P5K SE LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard

Cons: Vista would not load with this ram.

Overall Review: Good ram, not for my mobo

Only tablet with Netflix

lenovo IdeaPad K1 (130422U) Tablet - Black NVIDIA Tegra 2 1.00GHz 10.1" 1GB LPDDR2 Memory LPDDR2 600MHz 32GB Flash NVIDIA ULP GeForce

Pros: Since a negative review was posted by a non-owner, here is a positive review by a non-owner. This is the only non apple tablet that supports Netflix. I think the marketing people have done a poor job in not making this a prominent selling point, but it is there on Lenovo's website and on other reviews. With a usb port, this thing would be the bomb, but right now, it is the only alternative tablet to the ipad if you want Netflix

Cons: Don't have the money to buy it right now.

Overall Review: It has a docking port to to the quasi laptop thing. I believe the base available has usb ports, but that is an extra cost and something extra to carry around to get usb ports.

TP-Link TL-WN651G G & eXtended Range 108M Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g 32bit PCI Up to 108Mbps Wireless Data Rates
TP-Link TL-WN651G G & eXtended Range 108M Wireless Adapter IEEE 802.11b/g 32bit PCI Up to 108Mbps Wireless Data Rates

Pros: TP-Link works when others of this price range did not. Has WPA2, secure, stong. Only use it to send the wireless signal to the computer in the back room (through several walls and a refrigerator). Made a free amplifier to convert the signal from omni directional to directional, and it works great

Cons: Have not been able to get 108mps transfer.

mobo does it's job well

ASUS P5K SE LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS P5K SE LGA 775 Intel P35 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Mobo works great. Has lots of o/c features, nice safety features to prevent damage from o/c. As other reviews have stated, the ide port is hard to reach, put I needed to upgrade my ide drives anyway. Works as it should, Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit.

Cons: Not a con, put for others, Transcend 2GB 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Desktop Memory Model JM800QLU-2G does not work in the mobo. It would post but would not completely load windows. Had to return the ram and get some listed in the owners manual. The ram list can also be found on the Asus web site

good card for htpc

MSI GeForce 8400 GS 256MB GDDR2 PCI Express x16 Graphics Card NX8400GS-TD256EH
MSI GeForce 8400 GS 256MB GDDR2 PCI Express x16 Graphics Card NX8400GS-TD256EH

Pros: Good card, great price. New mobo, new graphics card. Works will with Vista ultimate.

Cons: This is a good thing, somewhat. With my old apg 8x card, I used a rca adapter to 75ohm coaxial to rca adapter to connect my computer and tv. With this video card, I had to get a s-video cable. Also, with the old card, tv shows off the network websites showed full screen fine on my tv. With the new card, the network tv is much bigger. I haven't found a way to resize it so that full screen fits in the screen yet. Will have to get an hd tv next year though, so no big deal really.

Overall Review: Great card for the money
