Solid Drive with Solid State Speed
Pros: Faster than an unladen swallow when reading commonly accessed data. With 8GB of SSD cache, that's a lot of software & documents that will load rapidly.
Cons: If your chipset drivers aren't up to date, you can experience data loss in Windows 8.1 when shutting down. My assumption is the OS isn't properly flushing the cache resulting in a loss of whatever is in the 64MB of volatile cache. If you don't reboot often, your boot & login software might not be in the SSD cache, resulting in slower boot times.
Overall Review: I was having the caching issue which Seagate phone support was able to quickly assess and suggest a resolution. Their advice (installing new chipset drivers) was excellent.
Great Hardware, and that's it
Pros: Comfortable size for medium to large hands. Solid construction and well-implemented hardware.
Cons: The control tool, Logitech Gaming Software (LGS), is very buggy and doesn't look like it'll be fixed any time soon. A "double-click" issue has existed in the software for years and hasn't been addressed by technical support or the Logitech forums. As a cursory effort to appear like they're doing something, a moderator or support rep will sometimes ask probing questions and then fail to follow up with the issue.
Overall Review: This is yet another example of why I will not buy any more Logitech products. The growing failure to produce quality products has left me strongly disillusioned with the company as a whole.
Failed After Three Months
Pros: Excellent sound. Low price point compared to similar other-brand speakers.
Cons: The speakers lasted three months. They will power on but will not produce any sound.
Overall Review: Creative's RMA process requires shipping the item to them at your own expense.
Sham
Pros: It can be returned.
Cons: After playing with this for just a few minutes, it's clear that the picture captured is actually lower than 720p then blown up by the hardware. The results are splotchy with terrible light balance.
Overall Review: The installer looks like it hasn't been updated since 2003.
