Overall Review: I was having very drastic fluctuations in internet speed for a while, and after at least 10 visits from my cable company and them being unable to find and solve the problem I decided to upgrade to a docsis 3 modem. Instantly the problems I was having were gone. My old docsis 2 modem got the sledgehammer, and this one is now enslaved. Great modem, and looks cool.

Pros: Looks cool, and has a very useful and easy to use BIOS

Cons: Well,... where to begin I purchased this mother board to pair with the i7-4790K 4.0GHz CPU when it came out. That was the beginning of my problems. This motherboard arrived faulty and unstable. Sent it off for RMA which sucked having to spend more money on shipping, and waste time waiting on it. Was happy that gigabyte 'repaired' it and sent it back in around a week. According to the RMA ticket it was 'repaired'. Not sure how much time was actually spent with my motherboard/testing because after receiving it and reassembling my new PC it was still with problems The motherboard is still unstable. The PC randomly hangs even while doing something as simple as watching a video on youtube, has low CPU, video, etc performance ratings on all tests, and is generally running like a toaster from 1997. Windows takes forever to boot up, and my antique laptop boots win7 faster which is hilarious. Installing any games or programs takes forever even for a small install. Unable to play any games without lagging heavily and getting around 5 fps. (I have a Nvidia GTX 780, and 16 gigs of ram both tested and working 100% before thinking it's them) I have used gigabyte for years, and had no second thoughts about purchasing this motherboard. After dealing with this for so long now I have lost faith with them. This motherboard should never have left the factory, let alone made it BACK to me without being 100% repaired or replaced with a brand new one. Many of my friends warned me about going with a gigabyte board saying gigabyte now has a record of sending out boards with issues, but I refused to listen and found myself in this situation for almost 2 months of back and forth drama. This motherboard has drained the enjoyment out of my fav hobby, and has pretty much stolen most of my free time since I purchased it. (attempting to find fixes, and testing everything piece by piece) In the future I will do far more research on motherboards, and manufacturers instead of relying on one I have trusted in the past.
