High quality case with a few design flaws
Pros: Build quality is high Glass is darker than other cases easy access with glass panels that swing-out
Cons: there is room at the bottom that they could have placed another fan. not enough room for all the wires in the back. magnets aren't strong enough. I bought some stronger magnets that work great. This is more of an issue because of all the wires not having enough room in the back. There is a gap around both side panels that allow unfiltered air to access the inside of the case. I dealt with this by buying foam window stripping and lining both panels. so they can still be opened but are as sealed as I can get them. I do not want dust getting inside my computer. I have enough fans to keep it cool.
Overall Review: I like the case. The build quality is very high. It does not feel cheap. I like the darker glass. I like the overall look of the case. However, there are some design flaws. The power supply box could have been extended all the way across the bottom and gave more room for wires to be put. the back sign has little space for the wires and causes that side's door to pop open of not be able to fully close. I had to but stronger magnets to keep the door closed. Since the power supply box does not extend all the way across the bottom. There is space that could fit another fan but no fan mount. I thought of modifying the case to put a fan there but decided later to not do so. There is a gap between the panels and the case that could allow dust to enter the case. I bought some foam window stripping and lined the case around the edge of the doors. You can't see it unless you open the doors. I really like the case overall. I do believe that they could spend a little bit more time in design and could make this case far better.
Good motherboard but I had to subtract two eggs - Read Cons
Pros: Lots of features RGB Looks great seems well made even though my first board had to be replaced
Cons: First board - the audio went out on day 3. I called Asus Customer service a total of 2 times over this audio problem. I reinstalled the drivers and even got to the point of reinstalling windows and drivers again. It was difficult understanding the 2 different representatives for two reasons, 1) strong accents coupled with 2) horrible call quality. Not only was I struggling to understand the person on the other side of the line, but the call quality was so bad that even if they spoke perfectly I would have struggled to understand them. I assume they are using internet phone service and the call quality was horrible. It got to the point that I told the man on the other side that "I can't understand you. You are breaking up to bad." And he kept talking. I hung up. Thankfully, I called Newegg and they issued an RMA and sent me a new motherboard. I understand that you can get a bad board from any company, but in those situations, the customer service really goes a long way in making things right. The second board has worked perfectly so far. But, I have to say that every day I'm a bit scared that something could go bad after the first board went bad.
Excellent little machine for linux
Pros: Small, Ryzen 4300u, space for 2 drives(m.2&sata)
Cons: Wish there were usb 3 ports on back. Wish the bios were better. They seem limited compare to what I'm use to on my main computer.
Overall Review: I got this to use linux on and it's done awesome so far. The 4300u cpu seems to be more than enough for a good user experience. For most people this is more than enough computer after throwing in some ram and an m.2. Highly recommend.
Mother Board Died. I replaced it with a Gigabyte Board
Pros: -IT does have more options for the price than other
Cons: -The fan for the chipset is right under my video card. I don't see how it can get good air. -I died. -The RGB controls, both in the BIOs and the software that you can install are horrible. Really bad. extremely limited in function. -The cover that covers the M.2 drives may look good but is a pain to have to deal with when you want to add another M.2 drive. -always had problems when I tried to run the 3600 G.Skill memory at 3600. I ended up underclocking it to 3200 for stability. I always thought it was my CPU preventing me from getting the 3600 speed. When I replaced the motherboard with the Gigabyte Aorus Master I could run the memory at the stated 3600 speed with no problem.
Overall Review: I thought this was a great motherboard when I bought it. I thought the issues I had at the time were because of the CPU silicon lottery, but when the motherboard died and I replaced it with a Gigabyte Aorus Master board. All the issues I had before went away. I removed my 5-star rating and I am now rating it a 2-star. IT does have more options for the price than other
Fast
Overall Review: Fast and glad I bought it
Works fine as long as I do not use the Type-C cable.
Pros: Speed make use of spare M.2 drive
Cons: Won't work with the Type-c cable that came with it
Overall Review: As long as I use the normal UBS cable it works fine but if I connect the Type-c cable it will not work. I've tries the type-c on the case and the one the back o0f the computer and it doesn't work that way. Using the regular USB I get 400+ speed.
Excellent service
I don't have one thing to complain about with Newegg. Any small problem that I came across they made right. I'm a satisfied customer.
