Pros: Fast processor, adequate ram and HD space, next to no bloatware from Lenovo, but what do you expect, great handle on top of case, convenient USB ports
Cons: Motherboard is lacking PCI slots, only (1) PCI 16X and (3) PCI 1X, no free ram slots, no built in wireless, stock card is OK, but not good, stock power supply is weak
Overall Review: Upgraded to a 500W Corsair Power Supply, Wireless NIC, PCI 1X and Radeon GT 430 dual DVI, overall happy with the value of the PC for the money, used primarily for office work, do not game, quick video encrypter with the I7-2600, no overclocking on this board
Pros: Cheap, got this on sale for $319.99 shipped with promo code and instant savings. Seems to be solid built for a value line laptop. Nice construction, good solid feel, 4 USB ports, nice rounded corners, good form factor, keyboard types well.
Cons: The windows image was not correctly installed on my unit, even then Lenovo system restore did not work due to faulty image. Had to call Lenovo within hour of opening box. Took a while with customer support but they agreed to send me recovery CDs. Should be nice once I can get them installed. Going to pull the 160GB Seagate that was in mine and replace it with a 128GB SSD. Going to be a travel work laptop, will be interesting to see if battery lasts advertised 4.6 hours. Stock 1 stick of 2GB Hynex 667mhz ram, FSB is 800mhz, why put in slower ram?
Overall Review: Overall it was a steal for those who caught it on sale at $320, would have been nice if I didnt have to wait on recovery CDs to actually use the laptop. Power cord is very short, oddly short.
Pros: You can thank me for not having any Made in Singapore in stock, I bought 10 packs in the second week of February. All orange label MIS.
Cons: none, thankfully these were not MII
Overall Review: happy to get these for $1.40 per disc and MIS
Pros: Low price, Ipod direct link, 7" high quality screen, easy to bypass the emergency brake override
Cons: Ipod controls are odd, will not charge Ipod when watching videos, would not read CDs after about 8 months, but Dual warranty service was great, provided me a new unit quickly
Overall Review: dollar for dollar, this is the best unit you can buy, has options that other high end units do not, screen is not up to pioneer and alpine standards, but still quite nice,
