Great board

Pros: I used this board for my first build. I'm a complete newbie, but I researched a lot of boards and liked this one for its expandability, price, and dual GPU support (SLI). I see it as a board that can accomodate a lot of growth over the years. Experienced folks can probably ignore this review, but newbies take heart: I was able to install all the board components, mount in case, plug in all wires, and have it boot up fine on first try. So if an idiot like me can build a computer with this board in a few hours, it must be pretty user-friendly! I found everthing fairly easy to identify, and manual and included parts, cables, etc. were great. Sata II (3gb/s) support is nice and my computer boots faster than any other I've owned. Included utilities are sweet, and the PC Probe and AI Booster are very cool and give a useful Windows interface for monitoring your processor and board, and look like they will allow for easy overclocking when that time comes. :) I'm very happy with my choice
Cons: No bad experiences to speak of.
Overall Review: My computer specs: *this board *Athlon X2 3800 *2x A-DATA V-Series 1GB DDR 400 *Western Digital Caviar SE 250GB (3gb/s) * GIGABYTE Geforce 6600GT 128MB *ASYS 8654BW Case 450W Power Supply
Good only if on budget

Pros: Cheap cheap cheap!! Got this in after-Thanksgiving sale for $$. At this price, it's practically disposable! Of course, at this price, there's also a lot of cons, but I'll save that for later. For the pros, it's a very nice looking case. I'm getting pretty old and don't want a case that looks like a dragon or a car or an alien head or anything like that, but this case has some nice sensible LEDs that give it some pizazz without making me ashamed to show it to my wife. Both the case and fan LEDs work very well and give my office a nice glow. The fan itself works well, and the case is very roomy and well ventilated. I'm using an Athlon X2 3800 at stock settings, 2gb RAM, GeForce 6600 GPU, SATA II 250gb drive, and ASUS A8N-SLI board. There is plenty of room for expansion and airflow, and processor temps are below 30 C at idle and have gotten it up to 42 C when doing heavy 3D rendering and modeling. The 450W PSU works fine, and has been going strong for a week.
Cons: Well, as others have said, this case is extremely lightweight and flimsy. Lot of sharp edges and chances to cut yourself. The side panels are easy to remove but difficult to slide back into place. It includes 3 brass and 6 plastic mobo mounting units...what's the deal with that? In my impatience to mount the mobo (it was late at night), I ended up just using the plastic ones, but now regret it and wish I had just waited a day and bought some brass ones, 'cause now it will be almost impossible to ever remove the mobo. However, I don't think the plastic ones will have any trouble supporting the mobo, so don't worry about that. PSU is not supported well and dips at an angle. "Fortunately", it's very lightweight and cheap, so probably not an issue! No instructions, but easy to figure out on own for newbie like myself.
Overall Review: Used this case for first ever build. Despite all these cons, all my hardware fit in easily with room to spare, the case is well ventilated, the led lights work, and the PSU works. At least so far...I don't regret buying this case at all, I only regret using the plastic mounting hardware. If you're going to carry your computer around a lot, don't buy this case, but if it's just going to sit in an room and not take any abuse it will be fine. Considering how much it cost, it was an excellent buy, but buyers should be aware of its pitfalls.
good phones

Pros: Good value for cost. Voicemail indicator and Call waiting caller id are nice features for the cost. Speaker phone is handy too.
Cons: A little too small, including buttons. Because of small size, have trouble cradling phone between head and shoulders while writing or doing other things with hands. But I just use speaker phone if I need my hands free.
Overall Review: These phone have been a good buy so far. They are the only phones in this price range that have voice mail features, which is why I bought these over some other phones.
good low-end speaker

Pros: CHEAP, only $ after instant rebate. They sound fine, if you just need low-end sound for occasional applications.
Cons: Power cord is too short, but I still managed to cope.
Overall Review: Sound quality is good considering the speakers cost the same as a couple gallons of gas. I only turn them on occasionally, just for digital camera video, email multimedia attachments, and other online media. If you need higher quality for gaming, music, or DVDs, look elsewhere.
fast and quiet

Pros: Using as only drive, and ASUS A8N-SLI board and Windows XP had no trouble with this drive. No install hassles. This drive is very fast and I was surprised how quiet it is (can't even hear over my case fans). Computer boots up extremely. I'm glad I spent a few extra bucks for 3.0gb/s, and for $$, this drive is a very good value for 250 gigs.
Cons: None so far, but I'm not doing anything fancy with it (no RAID, etc.).
Excellent

Pros: Bought two of these for first build, and ASUS A8N-SLI board had no trouble reading it in dual channel mode. Very good performance so far, and can't be beat for the money.
Cons: None so far.
