Rosewill A197wwwE 26 LED bulb
Pros: Nice even light, slight yellow color. Appears as bright as a 60 Watt incandescent bulb. I bought two, will buy more when they go back on sale.
Cons: takes a split second to illuminate, after you switch on the power.
LTH media won't work with all burners
Pros: nice package?
Cons: incompatible with my Pioneeer burner. BDR-203
Overall Review: Wouldn't work with my Pioneer BDR-203 burner. I have used Verbatim BD-R 2X LTH media no problems, with this burner. But when I went to burn a Blu-Ray movie I had edited with Vegas Pro to this media, I kept getting message, "Please insert a writable disc in the drive and press ok to continue". tried a disc or two in the stack, no luck. At least you get a full refund for Verbatim media.
Sony BDP-S950
Pros: Great Blu Ray player. Streams Netflix movies with no lag, very clear image watching House of Cards, etc.. I need to only use the buttons on the unit itself for watching autoplay Blu-Rays I burn with Sony Vegas Pro
Cons: slow to boot up from cold? Slow to play a Blu-Ray when you first insert it.
Overall Review: why is this selling for so much when original list price was $uno hundred and fiffty ? I bought mine reconditioned from New Egg for half that price.
VX 2370S, Crisp images, bright color..
Pros: Wow. What a monitor for < $150! The speakers sound ok, this isn't for a room size sound system. No bad pixels, really a great image. My older Dell with an Nvidia graphics card can run at 1920X1080 which is lucky. Comes with HDMI cable, audio cable, very small power supply. Stand is fine, nice tilt adjustment.
Cons: none, yet.
Overall Review: Wish I had bought one earlier, my old 19 inch Viewsonic died a year ago. I was using a 17 inch display
Aluratek ADPF08SF digi picture frame
Pros: Nice picture. Some people have problems with unit. I turn it off at night with on/off button at back. Press this button again, and picture starts at the same first image on SD card. Pictures appear in proper landscape or portrait mode.
Cons: none really, I was worried it might tumble off a shelf, so attached a small board to support post at back.
Overall Review: It works great for me. Interesting thing, as I add more images to the SD card, it plays them in a constant order, from first files I loaded on the card, to most recent, then starts all over again. Yet setup menu says playback is in random order? When I first turn it on, (power button on back) the photo/setup page appears, but don't touch anything! Slide show starts in a few seconds.
