Pros: Seems very sturdy, hard outer aluminum case, and a sleek finish. The internal mechanicals are also very neat and fail proof. Easy to setup and administer. Also seems fast enough for my needs. Stable; the disk has been ON for months now.

Cons: The software is buggy. (Could be my XP though, but then I won't blame Microsoft for it). I am unable to see the drive from one machine. Tried and gave up. It is visible though from another Vista machine, so I have a gut feeling that something went wrong with this software. The first item that arrived was faulty. Lacie quickly RM'ed it and fixed it though.

Overall Review: Would buy again if I fill 1TB of disk space. (seems far fetched)

Pros: Works without any "visual" problem

Cons: I need to use an ear plug. The fan is miserable, like a jack hammer by your bedside at night.
