Basic features for a 5MP camera

Reolink RLC-510A - 5MP PoE Security Camera, Outdoor/Indoor, 100ft Night Vision, Human/Vehicle Detection, IP66 Weatherproof, 24/7 Recording, 2K+ HD Video, Free Reolink App
Reolink RLC-510A - 5MP PoE Security Camera, Outdoor/Indoor, 100ft Night Vision, Human/Vehicle Detection, IP66 Weatherproof, 24/7 Recording, 2K+ HD Video, Free Reolink App

Pros: Full 5MP display (2560x1920 at 30fps). Web interface for configuration. Onvif interface works well.

Cons: UI is very basic. Requires Flash for video playback. Only supports H.264 which is horrible at this resolution. H.265 is a must for >2MP cameras.

Overall Review: Not a bad purchase when it's on sale, but not competetive otherwise.

Not as advertised and damaged

HP Compaq Elite 8300 Desktop SFF i5 3470 3.2GHZ 8GB 500GB Win 10 GB
HP Compaq Elite 8300 Desktop SFF i5 3470 3.2GHZ 8GB 500GB Win 10 GB

Overall Review: The photos of the computer showed a 2x4GB memory configuration but shipped system was 4x2GB. That means upgrading the memory will be twice as expensive. When received, the shipping box was in perfect condition, but the computer had suffered an impact on the rear I/O pannel. This caused the lid release to not function. It took 15 minutes with some tools to straighten out the back pannel so that the cover could release. I am not conficent that the latch mechanism isn't damaged Once opened, the interior was very dirty. I'll need to haul it out to the shop to blow the bunnies out. I would not recommend this to anyone unless you have sufficient experience with refurbashing PCs as this "Refurbished" PC came with all the refurbishing work yet to be done.

AP mode not working

MSI RADIX AX6600-E WIFI 6 TRI-BAND GAMING ROUTER
MSI RADIX AX6600-E WIFI 6 TRI-BAND GAMING ROUTER

Pros: Three radios 2.5Gb uplink port

Cons: Huge and akward Software bugs

Overall Review: It could be that MSI simply doesn't test AP mode as it's not as commonly used, but they include a switch in the firmware for it, so I would expect it to work. I spent a couple of weeks trying to resolve issues. I filed two tickets with MSIs support staff. They didn't reply until the return window was almost closed and their answers were straight off a support script--they ignored what I had stated was the problem and all of the things I had done to try to resolve it. Seriously "have you tried turning it off and back on?" is not appropriate when I'm telling you that it's not forwarding DHCP messages. It also doesn't honor the configured LAN host address. I like my routers at fixed addresses on my network, but these devices insisted on DHCP'ing for an address. I could have added a static allocation for their MACs to my DHCP server, but they have a setting in their config specifically to set their LAN IP--but they ignore it. In theory, these issues could all be solved with software updates in the future, but I'm not willing to take the risk that their software people are more competent then their support people. I will be going with a diffferent brand of route for my next purchase.

Way past its prime

Wavlink AC3200 Dual-Band Gigabit Gaming WiFi Router With MU-MIMO, Supports Guest WiFi & Parental Control, 4 Gigabit Ports, USB3.0 Port, 8x5dBi Internal Antennas, LCD Screen, iF Design Award Winner
Wavlink AC3200 Dual-Band Gigabit Gaming WiFi Router With MU-MIMO, Supports Guest WiFi & Parental Control, 4 Gigabit Ports, USB3.0 Port, 8x5dBi Internal Antennas, LCD Screen, iF Design Award Winner

Pros: - Reasonable 802.11ac speed

Cons: - Well past its prime - No current firmware - No software support - Akward web interface - Unstable hardware (need to reboot frequently)

Overall Review: I've had two of these routers for a few years and they have been problematic the whole time. The manufacturer has End Of Lived these products a while ago, so they are not longer supported. Buy these and you get an unreliable, unsupported plastic box. I'm looking forward to replacing them with something that works better and because I want to harvest the displays in them--maybe be able to make them do something useful ever.

Nicer than I was expecting

ADATA 32GB S102 Pro Advanced USB 3.0 Flash Drive, Speed Up to 100MB/s (AS102P-32G-RGY)
ADATA 32GB S102 Pro Advanced USB 3.0 Flash Drive, Speed Up to 100MB/s (AS102P-32G-RGY)

Pros: Aluminum case -- plastic ends Fast read speed

Overall Review: For the price, these 32GB flash drives seem to be a good value. I have not done any life testing with them, so I cannot speak to their longevity, but they read at over 250MB/s. Edited: I can now speak for their longevity. They still work, but reading got a lot slower after just a few months of idleness. I rewrote them and they're better, but the degredation in read speed makes then less useful for storing commonly used boot images, etc. I guess I would need to get into the habbit of refreshing them every few months--which is a pain.

Could use a better manual

Rosewill RHPC-19001 6 Qt Electric Pressure Cooker 10-in-1 Multicooker, Slow Cooker, Rice Cooker, Yogurt, Cake, Eggs, Saute/Searing, Food Steamer, Warmer, Sterilizer w/ 17 Programmable Cooking Presets
Rosewill RHPC-19001 6 Qt Electric Pressure Cooker 10-in-1 Multicooker, Slow Cooker, Rice Cooker, Yogurt, Cake, Eggs, Saute/Searing, Food Steamer, Warmer, Sterilizer w/ 17 Programmable Cooking Presets

Pros: Comes with a replacement silicone seal Stainless steel bowl

Cons: Hard to read display Manual is very terse and does not explain several features

Overall Review: I ordered this to replace a similar sized model with simpler controls, so I am familiar with pressure cookers. This one impressed me by the very easy to clean stainless steel bowl and the included egg rack. You get quite a lot of accessories for the price. Unfortunately, the manual is at best described as terse. It completely skips explaining many of the features of this model and leaves the owner at a disadvantage when trying to use it for even the recipes shown in the manual. Please remidy this! It's unfortunate that somethign so basic has crippled such a good product. Edited: It didn't last long. It turns out the electronics were very poorly build. Also, there is no way to manually pick a cooking time--you are forced to use the existing presets. Chili beans a little too hard? Want another 10 minutes of cook time? Tough luck. Not with this cooker, you don't. The only thing I kept from the dead machine was the lid gasket, the nice stainless pan, and the egg tray.

DOA

30K hours, 6 uncorrectable sectors and a failing SMART health rating. There's refurbished (repaired or reconditioned to working status) and used. This was used, not refurbished. Returned, but not processed after 5 days.

Not a bad laptop for the price

I can't see why mine was rated B, so I'm quite happy. The laptop itself is pretty basic and lacks some of the higher end features--USB-C is 5Gb/s and DP alt mode *only*--not TB, etc.

Questionable seller

The item description said that it would ship from China. The original tracking infromation was UPS and said it was shipping from CA. When that showed a completely wrong delivery time, I was concerned. When it said it was delivered to a different state I was surprised. The seller changed the tracking infromation. That said the item hadn't shipped. I contacted the seller and they said to be patient. I followed the new tracking and saw it ship and start to travel. It was delivered to another state again! I contacted the seller again and they said there was a problem with their logistics software and to be patient. The item finally arrived by FedEx and the packaging was damaged. Seller has yet to respond about that. I do not trust this seller and will not be doing business with them again.
