Super-Fast Drive Compared to my Previous RAID-0 Setup

Crucial RealSSD C300 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CTFDDAC128MAG-1G1
Crucial RealSSD C300 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) CTFDDAC128MAG-1G1

Pros: Very easy to install, TRIM support when used with the proper driver (I'm using the Intel Matrix STorage Manager 1008 under Windows 7 home premium.. Previously had a 5.9 WEI with a RAID 0 setup between two fairly fast 7200 RPM drives.. Now, I get 7.7 WEI for this drive. Boot time is phenomenal, instally wakes from sleep... I love this drive.. Still keep 3 HDD's in the system for storage of data, but OS & programs run off the SSD.

Cons: Would have been nice if they included a 2.5" to 3.5" adapter tray.. Went out and purchased one after the fact.

Dead after 3 weeks

XFX GeForce 9500 GT 512MB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Graphics Card PVT95GYAJ2
XFX GeForce 9500 GT 512MB DDR3 PCI Express 2.0 x16 Graphics Card PVT95GYAJ2

Pros: Good price, reasonable chipset as an upgrade from a 7600GT card. Boosted WEI scores to 6.4/6.5 for graphics performance.

Cons: Wish I could have said I remained happy, but unfortunately the card completely died today, appx 3 weeks after receiving it. Based on other comments, XFX warranties the card for life. If I hadn't thrown out the box, I would have sent it back to Newegg for a replacement.

Works great

Patriot Signature Series 32GB Class 4 Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card Model PSF32GSDHC4
Patriot Signature Series 32GB Class 4 Secure Digital High-Capacity (SDHC) Flash Card Model PSF32GSDHC4

Pros: Size: 32GB allows plenty of space for storing 14.1MP still images as well as 720P video from my Canon PowerShot SX210IS.

Cons: Cant think of any at the moment -- Opened it up, inserted into camera and it just worked.

Overall Review: I do have a SanDisk ImageMate 12-in-1 SDDR-89 card reader that required a firmware update before it would recognize the card.. Thats about it.

Dual Link not needed

HP L2445w Black 24" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor w/ Height & Pivot Adjustments 400 cd/m2 1000:1 w/ HDCP Support
HP L2445w Black 24" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor w/ Height & Pivot Adjustments 400 cd/m2 1000:1 w/ HDCP Support

Pros: 1920x1200 resolution supplies great real estate for your desktop.. Preferred this over getting two monitors side by side. All *necessary* cables included -- which means a single-link DVI cable and a D-Sub. I am not sure why the other two reviewers carried on about not getting a dual-link DVI cable with the monitor. It is NOT needed. Single-link provides 1920x1200 native resolution just fine. Additionally, I could find no reference on the HP website that the monitor would only provide 1920x1080 with a single-link cable. No wonder the HP representatives said this is the first time they heard of this issue.

Cons: Colors a bit off right out of the box, but thats to be expected.. Calibrate with a Spyder2 and it will look great.

Works like a charm

Vantec 2.5" / 3.5" / 5.25" SATA / IDE to USB 2.0 Adapter - Model CB-ISATAU2
Vantec 2.5" / 3.5" / 5.25" SATA / IDE to USB 2.0 Adapter - Model CB-ISATAU2

Pros: I just purchased an additional one of these for use at home in addition to one Ive been using at work.. Works great with every drive I threw at it.

Cons: Newegg should update their page to reflect that the 2.5" power adapter no longer comes with it

Overall Review: For 2.5 drives that draw more than 500 mA, use a 3.5->2.5 IDE adapter combined with this to provide power (i.e. Newegg N82E16812119245)
