Great solution!
Pros: Inexpensive and very useful. I have an Xbox 360, desktop computer, laptop, and blu-ray player hooked up to this. Not only does it provide wireless networking to my non-wireless electronics, it also acts as a switch between them, freeing up transfers on the main router in the house. Streaming videos from the desktop to Xbox doesn't bog down the whole network, which is nice. The software setup is the ridiculously easy, it maybe took 60 seconds. It looks great, works flawlessly, and it's inexpensive.
Cons: None so far.
Overall Review: This is a great alternative to the Xbox 360 wireless N-adapter as well. Why spend $100 when you can get this for $65 and hook up your tv, computer, and PS3 to it?
My Book 3.0 2TB
Pros: Tons of storage, looks nice, FAST! It's the first external I have had that does not have an obnoxious status light. The MyBook looks tasteful.
Cons: I didn't like the connector on it for the USB cable from the moment I got it. The cable always seems to be loose. Whenever I would plug in the power cable I was worried the whole circuit board inside would come loose, too. I would like to have an external that I don't have to baby for fear of its fragility. I honestly think that this HD is worth 5 eggs, but this morning I bumped, yes bumped the cable when it was plugged in and the receptor on the board broke off. Luckily it is under warranty and I only have backup info stored on it, so I'm not really mad about it, but still, that is a REALLY fragile external.
Overall Review: It is a nice HD, but WD definitely needs to rethink the design. I'm sure the next version will be better.
