Big, Sturdy and Not so "Whisper Quiet".
Pros: -EXCELLENT build quality -TONS of SPACE! -Plenty of fan room
Cons: -Not as quiet as advertised
Overall Review: I mean this case is a monster in terms of space and modding, you can add a ton of fans, you can add two video cards for SLI/Crossfire if you wish with plenty of room left over. The problem is that it's not as quiet as it's advertised. I'm an audio engineer, I *know* what quiet is after years of studio and live sound work, while yes it suppresses it's not what you think it will be, especially if you have powerful fans. You'll be looking at around a 20dB reduction from an entire system when you're really wanting around 40dB reduction in noise. The magnetic dust filters are great, more manufacturers should include them on all cases IMO. Easy to clean when necessary and obviously reusable. SUPER STURDY! I love this case, despite the nose flaw, I'll still give it 5 stars, also because I'm a TT fanboy. :P BUY THIS CASE!!
Looks great, Overclocks like an AGP...
Pros: -Excellent visuals -Looks nice
Cons: -Can't overclock worth it's cost
Overall Review: This card is beautiful looking aesthetically, averages around 75FPS with a modest overclock. Thaaaat's where the issue lies. Seriously this card has a locked voltage. That's just unacceptable in today's gaming/PC world. ALL card should have unlocked voltage for maximum performance enhancement. It's what keeps this 1060 from basically being the equivalent of a 1070 in terms of clock speeds. For the love of the universe and gamers, UNLOCK THE @*)! VOLTAGE!!! It's archaic in the sense of an OC. May as well have an AGP lol. Stock clock is 1569mhz... Stable OC is 1694.... Default mem clock is 2002, stable OC is 2102?! Come tf on.
High Quality RAM That Works Out of The Box
Pros: Great looking heatspreaders, easy install (duh lol) and 32GB of system-saving glory!
Cons: Zero.
Overall Review: I'm not gonna knock a product because I can't overclock this to tight timings... I buy my ram to work at rated speeds, period. I don't believe there's a significant difference between 14-14-14 and 16-18-18. This has also been proven in results testing, so if you're an obsessive overclocker, just save yourself the headache. OLOy is a new brand, I believe they're a year or two old if I'm not mistaken and I felt they had great packaging which kept the ram very secure on top of Newegg's shipping. I've been a G.Skill/Mushkin guy forever and used Patriot once, but I like OLOy now because it's YOLO backwards and their support seems genuine as opposed to canned replies. As a consumer and marketing professional, that speaks volumes to me. Real people who care, that want to solve any issues you're having. I would highly recommend OLOy and this kit to anyone. I'll likely be buying a second kit in the future for 64gb and plenty of video editing room.
Fast but HOT!
Pros: -Fast -8 cores
Cons: -Useless heatsink
Overall Review: Excellent CPU, very quick. However you really do need watercooling, a tower will work, but if you want to overclock this thing to 4.7-5ghz, you DEFINITELY need more. Two thumbs up.
Great Board, Weak USB3.0 pins and Software Incompatible with Windows 10
Pros: -Looks great, plenty of room -Wonderful layout -Rock solid stability
Cons: -Bundled software incompatible with win 10
Overall Review: So this board... When attempting to hook up the USB3.0 leads, two pins broke off. Thankfully all ports still work, but that's not cool ASUS. A brand known for superior quality and components shouldn't have pins snapping off when connecting leads. I could've essentially been left with a dud. Bundled software... No USB3.0/.1 boost for me nor any of the other useful software I would've liked to use other than CPU-Z... Which is RIDICULOUS. Why even include a CD if your software doesn't work and you have ZERO updates on the site for ANY of it?! It's pointless. Other than that I love it.
SilverStone Argon: Lighter Than a Feather, Conjures Spirits and Cooler Than Chill Penguin!
Pros: This thing is flat out epic. Sitting at 25c idle at 4.3 @1.25 up from 3.4 on FX6300 6-core. Did you hear a pin drop?! I did and it sounded like an anvil that's how quiet this thing is! Invites the paranormal to your location for a vacation too, just WOW! This tower cooler is lighter than a feather for it's size and I have used many in my time, it outperforms and weighs infinitely less than offerings from competitors who begin with a T. Brrrr.... Did I just defeat Chill Penguin as X?! Cool as can be!
Cons: Manual is TOO SMALL. If SS reps see this, I recommend doubling the size of the manual. You will need eagle eyes or a magnifier to see thing!
Overall Review: I will keep using this thing forever, it's that good, honestly rivals WC and I'm not even kidding! I can only imagine what's going to happen when I put another fan on in push/pull config with a 120mm intake above it, blowing out the back, weee! As long as they keep pumping out this unit with updated brackets I can't see a reason to part from such a great unit.
