Overall Review: This power supply started making buzzing/screeching noises when playing games for a few minutes. After 10 minutes I'd get a blue screen of death and my computer would crash. I didn't know it was the power supply at first but after some research I figured it out. I called Corsair, they told me to submit a RMA ticket online and the next day someone would give me an RMA number... So I did.... A week goes by and nothing. So I called again. They told me to submit proof of purchase. (It would've been helpful to know they required this in the first place.) I did, and my RMA was approved. "Glorious", I thought. I decided to try to get an express RMA, and I saw no option on the web. So I web-chatted with their customer service, and they told me to call in to get one. : / Keep in mind, each of these wait times were around 10 minutes or more (even the webchat). So I called in and asked for an express RMA., and to my surprise I was told they don't have an HX 850 in stock and it'd be 2 weeks before they'd get them in. Icing on the cake, I was told to call back in 2 weeks and try again. tldr; It's going to be at least a month before I'll have a functioning power supply thanks to corsair's convoluted and misleading customer service. I'm honestly thinking about buying a different power supply and requesting a refund, which will take 4-6 weeks anyhow.
